Religious Ed Announcements

At this time, all classes and events have been cancelled for the next eight weeks. This includes First Communion. As soon as we hear any information on if/when things will be rescheduled, we will let you know! Until then, I will plan on sharing out a religious education activity that both elementary and secondary students can do at home. I will share these out on Wednesday mornings. I will also share out a Gospel-related activity you can do with your kiddos. This will be shared out each Sunday. I will post these activities to the Facebook page, so make sure you check the Facebook page for the activities you can do at home! Lake City elementary parents: if you'd like to pick up your child's workbook/Bible, feel free to e-mail [email protected] to set up a time. I'd be more than happy to get you their materials so you can do the activities at home! Manson families: I will send out a "virtual" lesson on our last sacraments of study the first week of April. I will also be creating an online feedback form to fill out. This is what we would have done on that first May gathering. A final note for all parents: Remember that in these difficult and uncertain times, YOU are the best model of faith for your child. Even if you don't make time to do the religious education activities at home, you can still model and teach what it looks like to pray, talk to Jesus, and practice our faith. Don't wait until they are not around to quietly say your prayers...invite them to pray with you! You are the best model of what having faith is for them! Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions!

O Mary, you always shine on our path

as a sign of salvation and of hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,

who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need,

and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee,

we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father

and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our

sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross,

to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not

disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every

danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
