Uses of the micro clip
• As a break in the lesson to re-engage students
• To illustrate a point in an engaging way
• Sometimes there isn’t time for a 20/30 minute video but you want to get something visual in to the lesson
• Sometimes students switch off in 20/30 min videos
• Keeping things up to date e.g. case studies/Geography in the news

How?http://www.zamzar.com/
1. Paste the ULR from youtube in to here
3. Select AVI from drop down menu
2. Select ‘Download videos’
4. Type in e-mail address
5. Click convert
6. They then e-mail you a link and when you click on it it will start downloading to you computer as a windows media file
