ARRIVAL PROCEDURE - ENTRY TO YCM MARINA

MooringsA mooring will be assigned to each boat at the ti me of arrival unti l your departure (ETD) indicated in the appropriate form. Any change will be governed by the Marina.

Any manoeuvre will have to be authorized by the Marina by VHF channel 14.

Entry Procedure Aft er crossing the fi nish line, it is mandatory for all boats to noti fy “YCM Marina” on Channel 14 of their intenti on to enter Monaco’s harbour. Your boat’s name and sail number will be requested.

A YCM tender at the entrance of the harbour will authorise entry into the port and will indicate the temporary or defi niti ve berth assigned.

It is forbidden to enter Monaco’s harbour without prior confi rmati on from “YCM Marina”.

All boats must leave the harbour on Sunday 16th June before 11.00am.

Once in situ, staff on the YCM Marina desk are available for any questi ons you may have relati ng to the docking, mooring or technical need(s) of the boat. Any special requests must be made in writi ng ([email protected]) as early as possible.

*(A garbage bag will be delivered to you on your arrival. Please use it for any rubbish and dispose of it properly).

Race Offi ceThe Race Offi ce is at quay level. Crews are required to address any declarati ons to the Race Offi ce and return the tracker device.


LOGISTICS

CAR/VANPARKING

Vehicles under 2 meters in length must be parked in Monaco’s public carparks (appendix pag.12).

Parking vouchers are available from the YCM info desk that will ensure you pay no more than €10 per day (7th to 16th June 2019) in the designated carparks (see list in the annexes below).

Cars may be parked in the carparks at any time of day or night, simply by taking the ticket at the entrance. The voucher will only be needed when taking the car out of the carpark. Only one voucher per exit is required.

Vehicles over 2 meters may park in the truck park free of charge but must always be identified. Identification may be requested in advance by email ([email protected]) or at the info point desk.

Trailers can remain in Monaco for the period of the Giraglia. They MUST not be locked in any way as we may have to move them. Registration plates MUST be removed from the back of the trailer.

To assist you driving to the oversize carpark using the widest roads available, you may download a picture document of every crossroads from the motorway to “Esplanade des Pêcheurs”.

SUPPORT

YCM Info desk / YCI SecretaryThe YCM info desk and the YCI Secretary are located at the entrance of the Sports Section in front of the Touch&Go pontoon. As soon as a boat arrives, the skipper must go and report the boat’s arrival to the YCI Secretary and YCM Info desk where all relevant information will be given. Crew members should wear the regatta’s bracelet at all times to gain access to the relevant areas of the Clubhouse. You will receive these at registration in Saint-Tropez.

Postal AddressA mailbox is at the team’s disposal for receiving mails and packages. Sending and receiving post is entirely under your responsibility. The address below MUST appear on the parcels:

A press office is available at quay level, in the Malizia & Munegu classrooms (Sports Section)

INSIDE THE CLUB

Teams participating in the ROLEX GIRAGLIA 2019 will be granted access to the YCM. Club rules must be strictly adhered to and the ROLEX GIRAGLIA bracelet carried at all times when inside the YCM.

YCM 1909 Restaurant (Deck 2) lunch & dinner For lunch & dinner, the YCM’s 1909 restaurant will be open to ROLEX GIRAGLIA participants, as an exception.

Reservations must be made in advance through the Member Services Desk.

YCM Sunrise Restaurant (Deck 5) lunch For lunch, the YCM Sunrise restaurant is open to ROLEX GIRAGLIA participants, as an exception.

Reservations must be made in advance through the Member Services Desk.

Meeting RoomThe bar in the Meeting Room is located in front of the slipway on Quai Louis II and will be open from Wednesday to Saturday 24/24 (unless a special event is scheduled). This area is open to the teams.

Dress CodeTo access the Clubhouse bar and restaurants, the following dress codes must be respected:

• Meeting Room – Quay level – Casual / crew / race attire.

• 1909 Restaurant – Deck 2 – Blazer and tie mandatory (no jeans). Teams can contact the Member Services Desk at the main entrance on Deck 2 to book the restaurant.

• Sunrise Restaurant – Deck 5 – Smart casual (no flip-flops or sandals). Teams can contact the Member Services Desk at the main entrance to book the restaurant.

• Sports Bar – Deck 2 – Smart casual (no flip-flops or sandals).


PRACTICAL INFORMATION

ATMAn ATM is located in front of the Wine Palace on Quai Hirondelle.

SupermarketThe closest supermarket is 10’ on foot from the Yacht Club de Monaco (see appendix map).

LaundryA laundrette is available 15’ on foot from the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Currency and Electrical OutletsIn France and Monaco, the currency is the Euro (EUR).

In France, power sockets are type E. The standard voltage is 230V and the standard frequency is 50Hz. It is therefore essential to bring an AC adapter if you come from a country that uses different plugs and voltage.
