RICS matrics UK Council structure introduced in 2006, removing International element except for Eire and reducing places for all Regions/Nations to 1 except for Scotland, London, South East and North West who as largest got 2 places. Hon Sec role merged into Vice-Chairman, Hon Tres role merged into Junior Vice Chairman. Leadership Team enlarged from 5 to 7: Chairman, VC, JVC and 1 representive each from England, N Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Introduction of Annual Assembly to which a representative from each Local Group would be invited, to keep local connection.
