    There are three intakes throughout the year,which allow you to organise your studyaround any travel dates: February; Juneor July; October.

    You can also select the timeframe in whichyou would like to complete your study,with two options available: standard (threetrimesters); or accelerated (two trimesters).

    RMITs main campus is located in the

    At the heart of this program is the relationshipbetween people and space. This program willchallenge your assumptions about interior design,allow you to push current boundaries and usedesign as an agent of social and cultural change.

    Different interiors are considered, including:architectural, retail, exhibition and urbanenvironments; digital and filmic spaces;performance and theatre design; and artinstallations.

    You will learn to design through the process ofdeveloping your own design response to a rangeof design briefsfrom conceptual to real-lifesituations. You will be provided with technicaland communication tools such as AutoCAD,3D imaging, hand drawing, film production andmodel making, as well as verbal presentationskills.

    Careers

    Many graduates work in interior design andarchitectural practices where commissionsmay range from domestic interior, retail andentertainment, to hospitality, corporate office andpublic building design. These practices range inscale from large corporate offices to teams of twoor three.

    Design practices are becoming increasinglymultidisciplinary, with interior designers,landscape architects, architects, industrial
