RM Richard Müller was established in Denmark in 1901 and run as an independent company until the beginning of the 1970s.

Our origins

In 1970 a period of expansion of the company began with:

– The acquisition of a Danish competitor and another Swedish company.

– The foundation of new subsidiaries in UK and Holland

In the eighties, the key issues for the development were:

• New acquisitions in Sweden and Norway, consolidating the Scandinavian market

• The establishment of a new production factory in the UK

As well as the sale of this Group to the Danish company FLS Industries in 1987

From then on, a new crossborder concept was conceived, followed by a quick expansion all over Europe, with the acquisition of the following companies:

– RM Perfor (Belgium)– RM Permesa (Spain)– RM Prestara (East Germany)– RM HUTTER Lochbleche (Austria)– RM Metallurgica Genovese (Italy)– RM Nold (West Germany)– RM Heer Lochbleche (Switzerland)– RM Besson (France)– RM Perfometal (Poland)

In 2001 the Rich. Müller Foundation bought the Group from FLS.

Between 2005 and 2007 all the companies changed their identity and became known as RMIG.

The result of this process is the establishment of:

RMIG - the largest world perforating group

With direct presence in more than 14 countries and 9 production plants.

The turnover in 2008 was € 113,1 Mio.
