RIZVI EDUCATION SOCIETY was established in 1985 with the

College of Arts, Science and Commerce and Rizvi High School.

In thirty one years, it has spread its wings and branched into

various professional colleges producing stalwarts for the

country.

ABOUT US

RIZVI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION started in 2003 under the aegis

of Rizvi Education Society. In a span of fifteen successful years,

Rizvi College of Education has made a remarkable progress in

the educational fraternity.

It has emerged as a premier institute creating teachers equipped

with the latest trends and technologies in education.

It provides dynamic training programs that empower teachers to

meet the challenges in the ever changing global scenario. The

credit for the success of this institute rests with its President –

Dr. A. H. Rizvi, whose vision and endeavor to make a difference

in the society led to the establishment and growth of Rizvi

College of Education.

Rizvi College of Education is affiliated to University of Mumbai

since 2003 and is approved by NCTE.

At Rizvi College of Education our aim is not

just to be good but the ‘Best’ in the teacher-

training Industry across India.

Rizvi College of Education aims to develop a

spirit of initiative in the Student – Teachers.

B.Ed. is a Two Year course

comprising of 4 semesters. based on

credit based choice system. RCOED

offers the following methods to their

aspiring teachers:

RCOED emphasis a lot on various

AT RCOED, we offer all special courses listed in the

curriculum of university of Mumbai and encourage

students to pursue their passion based on their interest

and mastery.

SPECIAL FEATURES

RCOED offers value added course on “Enhancing Teachers

Proficiency in English Communication” which is in association

with British Council of India and APTIS.

In this course, the student-teachers are made to Read, Write,

Listen and Speak in English. It is a 8 week course with 32

contact hours.

At RCOED, the aim is to make student-teachers future ready.

For this, open educational resources are used to their full

potential.

Mental health and wellbeing is of the top priority at RCOED. To

ensure this, faculties of RCOED regularly conduct mental health

awareness sessions, encourage student-teachers to conduct

mental health awareness drives on stations, conduct meditation

sessions and give counseling to the student-teachers.

RCOED aims to nurture research culture in the student teachers

by encouraging research in newly emerging and challenging

areas of Education and in its multidisciplinary fields like ICT,

Psychology, Philosophy etc. This enhances the general research

capability of budding technocrats by way of participating in

conferences, seminars, workshops, project competition, etc.

In the academic year 2017-18, 10 student teachers published

their research and action research work in International

Journals.

teachers who have a strong passion for research and are life long

HOW TO ENROLL

✓ The conducting body State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET

CELL) Government of Maharashtra will start online

registration for MAH B.Ed.

✓ CET through the official website from April 5, 2018, to April

26,2018. MAH B.Ed. CET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted

online on June 9 & 10, 2018.MAH B.Ed.

✓ Online registration and form filling for Maharashtra B.Ed CET

could be done at www.bed.mhpravesh.in

✓ The last date to fill and submit the application at official

website dhe.mhpravesh.in is April 26, 2018.

✓ Candidates may apply online through the University website

by paying a fee of INR 400 for SC, ST and PWD candidates,

and INR 800 for other categories.

✓ Candidates should have completed their graduation and post

graduation with at least 50% marks for Open Category

Candidates and minimum 45% marks in case of Backward

Class categories from State of Maharashtra.

Eligibility: A Candidate for the admission to degree of education

(B.Ed.) must fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the directives of

Government of Maharashtra from time to time. For seeking Admission in

B.Ed. Course, graduation and Maharashtra CET for Teaching is

mandatory.

Fees: INR 95,000 per year
