The Cercados Rivisa Company is established in Barcelona.1982The company becomes a public limited company.1987

Rivisa grows and develops and acquires the exclusive contract to install the security fencing for the 92 Barcelona Olympics.1991

The workshop in Barcelona is moved to an industrial building in Palau de Plegamans, where a metal workshop is also established. In these new premises the first tube drilling machine is installed to manufacture of Lux tubes.1992

The opening of the first branch in Tarragona with the aim of offering better coverage for the area South of Catalonia.1993Movement of the entire company to 4.000m2 buildings in Lliçà de Vall, Barcelona, where a new robot welding section is installed for the manufacture of fences and gates.1995

Opening of the Valencia branch with the aim of offering greater coverage for the Levante market.1996Rivisa installs a manufacturing line for electrowelded mesh.1997Both the fencing company Arga Arpasa, S.L.U. of Pamplona, and the Valencian Company Levantina de Cerramientos y Mallas S.A. are acquired; and both are integrated into the Rivisa group as new branches. With these new branches the North and Spanish Levante are catered for.

The company changes its name. Cercados Rivisa, S.A. becomes Rivisa Industrial de Cerramientos Metálicos, S.A.2000

Rivisa follows a tradition that was born in 1854 when Francisco Rivière Bonneton introduced the chain link mesh in Spain from England.

Rivisa acquires the major part of the fencing contract for the first AVE in Spain, from Madrid to Seville.1990

Rivisa is the first Spanish manufacturer and installer of perimeter protection systems to achieve this certification. 2003

Rivisa acquires 130,000 m2 of land and 7,000 m2 of industrial building space in Santa Margarida de Montbui, Barcelona, and moves all its production to these new premises. The company has its offices in Lliçà de Vall, where the

Barcelona branch and its head offices are located. 2004

Rivisa installs an automatic paint line in the new factory and introduces a new anticorrosion coating procedure to the market on all its products. This process is given the name Protecline.

Opening of a commercial office in France.2005

Rivisa opens the Galicia branch, located in the municipal district of Puxeiros-Mos, which will cover the regions of Galicia and Asturias. 2007

Strong sales growth in various international markets. Distribution agreements signed in Italy, Holland, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Morocco. 2008

Rivisa is starting up a new department for Electronic Security Systems, which complement their perimeter protection systems to offer integral security solutions. 2010

Rivisa strengthens its international presence and operates in over 15 countries. 2014

Rivisa is Spain’s first metallic fence manufacturer and has an important presence in other countries of the European Union such as France, Portugal, Italy, and England as well as in other countries in North Africa and Central America.

A large commercial network allows Rivisa to have complete coverage in the national market, in addition to collaborating with the best installation and distribution companies in the national and international market.

· The vertical posts measure 100mm in diameter and 2m00 in total height, putting them at an exposed height that can be adapted to particular needs.

· Horizontal bars measure 2m00 in length and 80mm in diameter and are placed at the top of the fence with 0m45 gap between them.

· The posts and bars are connected with galvanized brackets and anchors. There are 3 types of brackets: straight, end, and angle.

· It is possible to make gates for wood post fences.

ASSEMBLY

Treated wood for exterior use is employed mainly for fences with turned wood posts of various diameters that can be combined in different ways for use in a wide variety of spaces. It is possible to find fences with wood posts in riding centres, parks, country estates, hunting grounds, natural spaces.

Turned wood posts can be combined with metal mesh, making this type of fence more versatile and useful.

SIMPLE MODELThe simple model is the most basic and affordable in the line.

It features a single horizontal crossbar connected to the top of the vertical posts at a variable height.

Wood post fence with four round turned posts of different diameters and galvanized brackets. This type of fence features a double crossbar in front of the vertical post. The use of galvanized brackets allows this type of fence to be used in any type of terrain and saves a significant amount of time in assembly.

DOUBLE CROSSBAR MODEL

This fencing can be used to enclose hunting and grazing grounds. It features vertical wood posts and knotted wire mesh. Livestock fencing is ideal for controlling the movement of people and animals, at an affordable price and highly integrated into the natural environment.

· A typical hunting fence to enclose hunting grounds would be:

· 2m exposed posts (2.5m in total) with 100mm diameter spaced 4m apart

· 2m-high knotted wire mesh (see knotted mesh chart)

ASSEMBLY

STEPPED SECTION

On the steps install the longest post (normal length + step height) on the lower part of the fence and clamp the mesh to the upper and lower sections of the mesh. Install twice the number of brackets for the tension wires and struts on the post.

SLOPED SECTION

Install the longest post (normal length + slope) on the lower part and attach both the upper and the lower panels to it by means of twice the number of brackets.

There are several ways of installing the enclosure, adding complementary elements that will increase the efficacy and protection of the system.

OPTION 1. ASSEMBLING CONCERTINAConcertina is the perfect complement for the Security Perimeter Protection. It dissuades any trespassing attempt. Rivisa recommends using Harpoon type concertina, with a diameter of 600x50mm, finished in galvanized stainless steel. Different combinations are available.

The anti-climb mail is a perfect complement for this system. It prevents intruders from introducing their feet or fingers trough the Chain Link Mail. OPTION 3: BARBWIRE
