Riviera Maya, Mexico, when the average temperature is a scorching 83°F. During this month, highs of up to 90°C are common, cooling down to 79°C after dark; it's also very humid. July falls within the wet season, which means there will be around 12 rainy days when downfalls are expected and there is also a risk of hurricanes. Despite that, the resort enjoys ten hours of sunshine each day and a pleasant sea temperature of 83°C. Due to the sheltered location of Riviera Maya, the worst of the tropical storms and hurricanes tend to pass the region. Any severe weather warnings at your resort however, should of course be heeded.
