Note: Student numbers are taken across the entire year and represent the total number of students enrolled in each year level. Absenteeism and enrolment data are taken at four different snapshots and represent an accurate representation of absenteeism based on average enrolment data across the year. A review of attendance data in 2014 indicates that due to the safe and secure environment provided by the College, absenteeism from school is a result of illness or family commitments. The College manages non-attendance by requiring parents and/or guardians to contact the College by 8:30am if their child is absent. Parents are required to inform the Principal, in writing, of any planned or extended absence from school. The College is committed to working in partnership with families to promote the importance of attendance in a student’s academic and social development. RETENTION RATES: In 2014, the College’s apparent Year 12 retention rate was 86%. This is the number of students enrolled in Year 12 in 2014 as a percentage of the number of students enrolled in Year 10 in 2012.
