INTRODUCTION
Ritu Kumar (born 1944) is one of India's top most fashion designer specially in bridal wear.
Her designed clothes are often wore by Indian pageants in contests like Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Asia pacific
Late Princess Diana and Jemima Khan has also wore her designed clothes.
Despite spending lot of time in USA, she still has Indian citizenship. She is married and has two children
HISTORY
Ritu Kumar was born on 11th November 1944 in Amritsar, Punjab.
A native of Delhi, Ritu graduated from Lady Irwin College in 1964 and did her higher education from Briarcliff College, USA in 1966.
The ace designer had a humble beginning in a small village, near Kolkata

Amrish Kumar (30) is a Director in Ritu Kumar. In five years time, he hopes to make Ritu Kumar a truly international designer wear brand with interest in cosmetics and other products.
While the bridal market is the lifeline for Indian designers, Amrish and his team of designers are hoping to create a new segment
