SELF-AWARENESS

• Winners are aware of their world and all it has to offer.

• Positive self-awareness is knowing who you are, what you believe in, the role in life and work you are presently filling

• You have been selling yourself short all your life.

• You have the opportunity to experience more environmental, physical, and mental abundance than you are presently experiencing.

• Positive self-awareness is opening your eyes to the possibilities and alternatives available.

• Change your attitude and your environments will change automatically

• Change your attitude and your environments will change automatically

SELF-ESTEEM

• Self-esteem is the deep-down, inside-the-skin feeling of your own self-worth.

• You realize that liking yourself and accepting yourself are not necessarily egotistical.

• You know that you are unique, one of a kind. There has never been nor ever will be anyone exactly like you.

• Positive self-esteem means accepting yourself, totally and unconditionally, fully realizing you have strengths and weaknesses, good points and bad, positive and negative qualities.

• To establish true self-esteem, you need to concentrate on your positive attributes, your good qualities, your successes.

• Each and every person is important. Nobody is more important than anyone else.

SELF-ESTEEM

• When someone criticizes you, you understand that he or she is criticizing your behavior, not you. In other words you don’t have to take it personally.

• When someone compliments you, simply say, "Thank you."

• You know when to say, "I'm sorry,” “I made a mistake," and "I forgive,”

• Humility is recognizing and emphasizing the value in others. It is not degrading yourself or minimizing your own worth.

• You are an incredible creation. Look at your assets:

– A mind that thinks at the rate of 800 words per minute

– Eyes with 100 million receptors

– Ears with 24,000 fibers

– 500 muscles

– 200 bones

– 7 miles of nerve fiber

– 60,000 miles of blood vessels

– a heart that pumps more than 1,600 gallons of blood each day

– 500,000 touch detectors

• You understand that the self-management skill of positive self-esteem is an important key to your professional success.

SELF-CONTROL

• We are emotional human beings. Our emotions seem to take control sometimes. Acknowledging this and understanding how to control your emotions will make life easier.

• At the root of a distressful situation is often a dominant need.

• When our needs aren't met, we often become uncomfortable, upset, angry, or confused

• Understanding our needs can be the beginning of positive self-control.

• According personal responsibility for our attitudes and actions will give us positive self-control.

• Our goal is to erect a Statue of Responsibility.

• Understanding our needs can be the beginning of positive self-control.

• According personal responsibility for our attitudes and actions will give us positive self-control.

• Our goal is to erect a Statue of Responsibility.

SELF-CONTROL

• The person who admits a mistake and says "I'm sorry" is accepting personal responsibility.

• Qualifying phrases such as "If only…” creates weakness.

• Everything you do is habit. Your habits are formed over many years and take time to break. Determine which losing habits you want to eliminate and strive to develop winning habits.

• One of the best ways to break a bad habit is to replace it with a good one. Rather than trying to force out the old bad habit, concentrate your energy on developing the new habit, which eventually will replace the old.

• Life is a "do-it-to-myself program,” and take the credit and the blame for my position.

• Positive self-control is a self-management skill, which, when developed, puts you in control of your career and environment.

SELF-MOTIVATION

• A motive is that which is within an individual which incites him or her to action.

• Fear is the powerful negative motivator that restricts, tightens, panics, forces, and defeats.

• Desire is the strong positive motivator that attracts, reaches, opens, directs, and encourages.

• Our lives are controlled largely by the way we talk to ourselves, that is, by our self-talk.

• Winners see the rewards of success in advance; they do not fear the penalties of failure.

• Losers express built-in excuses by saying "I can't" and "I have to" instead of "I can" and "I want to."

SELF-MOTIVATION

• There is no such thing as a stress-free life. A life without stress would really be no life at all.

• Winners know how to respond positively to stress. They use it to their advantage rather than being controlled by it.

• It is not possible to move away from the reverse of an idea; your actions will be controlled by your currently dominant thought.

• What do you fear? Determine your fears and start to do the things you fear to do. Action will minimize and ultimately eliminate your fears.

• Positive self-motivation is dissatisfaction with the status quo or a desire for change.

• Positive self-motivation is a self management skill which will move you in a positive direction.

SELF-EXPECTATION

• The single most outwardly identifiable trait of a winning human being is positive self-expectation, which is pure and simple optimism.

• You may or may not get what you deserve in life, but you almost always get what you expect from life.

• Winners expect a good job, financial stability, a nice home, good, friends, ,success, and good health.

• Losers expect such occurrences as the loss of job, bankruptcy, a dull evening, bad service, failure, and ill health.

• The study of psychosomatic medicine the relationship between the mind and the body and how each affects the other-indicates that the body manifests what the mind harbors.

SELF-EXPECTATION

• All people have germs, but not all people become ill, instead, the cause of disease is closely linked to people’s reactions to life's situations.

• Winners in all walks of life are consistent in their ability to do a good job, and they set out to prove themselves correct.

• One of the best ways to develop positive self-expectancy is to use positive self- talk all day every day..

• Nobody likes to be around negative pessimistic, skeptical losers. They repel others

• People are attracted to optimistic, enthusiastic, cheerful winners.

• Give yourself an extra dose of unqualified, burning optimism. It is the elixir of life

• Positive self-expectancy is a self-management skill which can positively affect every situation.

SELF-IMAGE

• Understanding your self-image is the key to understanding your behavior. When you change your self-image, your personality and behavior changes accordingly.

• What you "see" is what you get. Who you "feel" is who you are.

• Individuals behave according to their perceptions of reality, not according to actual reality. It is not what you "are" that holds you back; It's "what you think you are not."

• Each of us has developed a self-image concerning every talent, every characteristic, every performance.'

• Your self-image dwells in the subconscious level of thinking.

• The conscious level of thinking acts as a "judge," it collects information from. the environment, stores in the memory bank, and makes rational decisions.

SELF-IMAGE

• The subconscious level of thinking acts as a "robot;" it is responsible for autonomic body control, such as respiration and circulation.

• The subconscious "robot" controls the conscious "judge" level of thinking. action frequently takes place without consultation with the "judge," but no action ever takes place without reference to the "robot."

• Scientists agree that the human nervous system cannot tell the difference between an actual experience and vividly imagined.

• You can program your own self image by imagining yourself as the person you want to become.

• Creating a positive self-image is a critical self-management skill which can make the difference between being productive and non-productive.

SELF-DIRECTION

• Winners have a game plan for life.

• Positive self-direction means knowing where you are going.

• The human system is goal-seeking by design.

• This system constantly monitors self-talk and environmental feedback about the goal and adjusts self-image setting in its subconscious robot achievement mechanism.

• Every decision necessary to reach a particular goal is made by your self-motivated system.

• Winners are people with a definite purpose in life.

• What kinds of goals are you committed to?

• We all have the potential and opportunity for success in life. it takes just as much energy and effort to fail as does to succeed and live the good life.

SELF-DIRECTION

• What do you stand for? If you don’t stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

• Most people spend. more time planning a party, studying the newspaper, or making a Christmas list than they spend planning their lives.

• The secret to positive self-direction is in establishing; a clearly defined goal, writing it down, and then concentrating on it morning and night, with words, pictures and emotions, as if you had already achieved it.

• The self-management skill of positive self-direction will focus your energy on specific goals and objections.

SELF-DISCIPLINE

• Self-discipline requires practice.

• Self-discipline begins where lip service ends.

• You may be motivated by desire; you may feel in control; you may expect to go to the moon; you may imagine yourself on the moon. But you will never even get near the launching pad without persistent self-discipline

• Self-discipline alone can make or break a habit. Self-discipline can effect a permanent change in your self-image and in you.

• Self-discipline is doing within when you are without.

• Positive self-discipline demands that you commit to memory those thoughts and emotions that will override current information stored in the memory bank

SELF-DISCIPLINE

• You must practice simulation training, that is, you must imagine and visualize what you want to be.

• Advanced Learning is one method for simulation training.

• We learned how to walk, talk, dive, type, ski; and to perform many other skills by practicing them. Isn't it worth it to practice simulation training by means of Advanced Learning in order to master self-discipline?

• Everything is habit forming if it is repeated.

• The self-management skill of positive self-discipline is simply practicing and simulating successful coming events.

SELF-DIMENSION

• Acquiring a positive self-dimension requires looking beyond yourself for meaning in life.

• A winner puts it all together, He or she is a total person, which is a. rare human being indeed.

• Self-dimension takes the Psychology of Winning beyond the self and into the universe.

• Winning means extending a strong hand to one who is reaching or groping or, just hanging on. Winners know there will be no lasting peace on earth until there's a piece of bread in every mouth.

• Self-dimension starts with the inner circle - the family.

• Winners live well-rounded lives. They spend time developing their most important relationships,

SELF-DIMENSION

• Positive self-dimension means having a “double win" attitude, "If I help you win, then I win.”

• Winners go beyond the horoscopes and stars and fortune tellers prophesies, beyond the do-it-yourself advice, beyond the plastic surgeons knife. Instead, they. live each precious, golden moment as if it were their last, building for the future and learning from the past.

• Positive self-dimension is being in harmony with the divine order that shapes the entire universe.

• Because winners understand the mortality of their own bodies, they are able to age gracefully.

• Developing positive self-dimension is a self-management skill which affects all areas of your life.

SELF-PROJECTION

• Winners in life are walking examples of positive self-projection. They project an aura; they have an unmistakable presence; they have a charisma that is disarming, radiant and magnetic.

• Positive self-projection depends upon creating a positive first impression, knowing you'll never have a second chance.

• Studies have shown a definite correlation between looking good and success in life. A recent Harvard study pointed out that people who are made to feel unattractive by themselves and their peers tend to suffer from feelings of loneliness, rejection, and isolation.

• Winners can project success without flaunting it.

SELF-PROJECTION

• Positive self-projection means introducing yourself first when you meet people, saying “Hello, my name is…”

• Look straight into the eyes of the person who is talking.

• Positive self-projection is learning how to listen to others.

• Winners exhibit an "I'll make them glad they talked to me" attitude.

• Positive self-projection is being service-oriented, not self oriented.

• Project your very best self every day in the way you walk, talk, listen, and react.

• Positive self-projection is a self-management skill others can benefit from when around you.
