Cause 1. Existing SYABAS reservoir is leaking2. Construction works are in close proximity to existing reservoir3. Initial discussions with SYABAS indicate that the reservoir is critical as it supplies water to KL city centre4. SYABAS have not done any rectification works to the reservoir as any water rationing will impact water supply to KL city centre

Description Insufficient width of road reserve with plenty of large water pipes, existing utilities and SYABAS reservoir. The existing SYABAS reservoir is currently is a poor state and the necessary precautions and consideration shall be taken during construction works. Further damage to existing underground SYABAS reservoir at the south of Persiaran Dagang during construction
