Saint Dominic Academy is excited to offer the Rising Leaders Summer STEAM Program for girls entering the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade

in September. These enrichment classes focused on

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math

are designed to help young women explore their interests, enhance their

talents and abilities, develop leadership skills and create new friendships.

Drinks and snacks will be sold everyday, but students must

bring their own lunch.

Express Yourself Workshop: Through a variety of creative exercises and speaking activities, girls will gain a new found confidence in self expression.

Girl Power: Girls will become more self-assured through empowerment exercises and group discussion and will learn how to lead in true SDA fashion.

Math Magic: Math skills will be enhanced through hands-on, inquiry based approaches to information and concepts. Preparation for standardized testing.

Fit for Fun: Girls will participate in all different types of health and fitness activities, including gym and pool time at Saint Peter’s University.

Choose one to explore your creativity:

Art Studio: Students will learn the elements and principles of design and apply them using paint, printmaking techniques, pen and paper.

or

Creative Writing: Creative writing skills of description and grammar will be further developed through thoughtful observation and hands-on practice.

COOP Exam Prep CourseFor students entering

8th grade.
