![Page 14: Riseof stalin factors - site](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061121/546d9e2daf7959fb678b5c93/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Trotsky’s weaknessesTrotsky was considered arrogant by most people in the Communist Party
He thought he would succeed Lenin – was complacent and did NOT build up support like Stalin
![Page 15: Riseof stalin factors - site](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061121/546d9e2daf7959fb678b5c93/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Trotsky’s weaknessesTrotsky was considered arrogant by most people in the Communist Party
EXAMPLE: He had criticised the decisions of the Communist Party looked like he was arrogant and disloyal.
![Page 16: Riseof stalin factors - site](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061121/546d9e2daf7959fb678b5c93/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
Trotsky’s weaknessesWanted to spread the revolution to the whole world (worldwide revolution) instead of just focusing on building up Russia. Stalin however, focussed on communism in one country – meaning strengthen USSR first before thinking about other countries.
![Page 17: Riseof stalin factors - site](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061121/546d9e2daf7959fb678b5c93/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
