While Khushii continued to undertake its core operations in REMEDIAL EDUCATION this quarter through its own tributary schools as well as government schools under SHIKSHAANTRA+, it scaled some new heights in collaboration with its valued stakeholders in driving its 3 key levers for reforming education in the country. National Orientation and Planning Meet for all Project coordinators and Teaching staff was conducted in Delhi between 9th to 12th October, 2017 to orient staff on various programmatic components with sessions on project management, assessment and performance monitoring, counseling, reporting and documentation, relationship building with the concerned government departments etc. to build the perspective with respect to their state projects Educators With a focus on enhancing visual learning, audio-visual methods were introduced in classes. Along with United way of Delhi, a movie was shot to capture the benefits of Khushii’s interventions EdTech Khushii efficaciously works to provide an enabling ecosystem across all elements essential for overall growth and development. With support of Cognizant, we conducted an eye camp, Drug addiction awareness program and back pain and deep vein thrombosis pain awareness for teachers. Enablers Stories …with a ripple effect To support the #MyRightToBreathe Campaign, Khushii Students from Shikshaantra+ NATCO Government High School Borabanda, Hyderabad, held an "Awareness Rally" in their local communities and encouraged their neighbours to celebrate a Diwali without Patakas! India Sanitation Coalition: The India Sanitation Coalition (ISC) was formed with the objective of bringing all stakeholders in the sanitation field onto one platform where they can share information, learn from others, partner and collaborate. Khushii is their implementing partner and also knowledge sharing partner.
India Nutrition Coalition: To work towards the goal of nutrition security, a diverse group of national leaders have united to form the Coalition for Sustainable Nutrition Security in India under the leadership of Professor MS Swaminathan. The Coalition serves as a unique platform bringing together key stakeholders to advocate for improved nutrition policies and programs in India. Khushii has joined them as an implementing partner.
