Rip Rap in High DemandHistorically wet years in the upper Midwest haveprovided L.G. Everist, Inc. with an opportunity tosupply more rip rap to projects south of our quarries inDell Rapids. The US Corps of Engineers has requesteda substantial quantity of rip rap be made over the nextfew years by L.G. Everist, Inc.
Increase in demand requires us to supplement our rip rap production at the Dell RapidsEast Quarry. This has lead us to bring back to life a portable plant that had been retiredto the bone yard. As the machinery was sitting idle for an extended period of time therewas some re-fabricating required to be done by our friends at ARC Fabricating.Despite a few hiccups in set up, the portable plant is up and fully operational at theDell Rapids West Quarry and has new life.
Thanks go out to ARC Fabricating, Bob Hoffman,Scott Rentz, Mike Bunkers, Cody Neilson and theentire Dell Rapids West Quarry crew for a safe andeffective set up on the "new" rip rap plant.
