Americas great rights

AMERICA• The United States Of America is the only country in the WHOLE WORLD that guarantees

freedom

• We are the only country that has not had a dictator or a king that we willingly let in

• We are also the richest country in the world.

NORTH KOREA• They have had many dictators including the most recent Kim Jong Un the third.

• He basically moved into the country and said I’m taking over now.

• The people never elected him!

• Now he rules with a iron fist.

THE MEDIA• They are only aloud to show things considered ok by the government.

• Everyone has a news radio that they can’t turn off!

• You can not tell secrets or the government will throw you in jail.

• What amendment would this be breaking?

Page 5: Rights and freedoms of different places

THE FIRST!• The first amendment states you have the freedom to speak what ever you want, when

ever you want.

• You can’t simply throw someone in jail for showing something that people might need to know about.

THEY ARE OUTLAWS• The North Koreans also are aloud to just break into your house to make sure you don’t

have anything you can’t have.

• If they like something in your house, they can just take it!

• What amendment would this be breaking?

Page 7: Rights and freedoms of different places

THE FOURTH!• The right to say no to searches.

• The government can’t search your house without your permission or a court order.

TORTURE?!?!?!• The North Korean government can kidnap you and force and information out of you by

shear force.

• If this was the US what amendment would be violated?

Page 9: Rights and freedoms of different places

THE FIFTH!• The right to remain silence.

• US citizens can not be forced to speak after using the term “I plead the fifth.”

Page 10: Rights and freedoms of different places

CONCLUSION• Kim Jong Un is a dictator who enforces these laws in North Korea.

• He came in and just took over.

• If they had the rights we had, they would all be in jail!
