Brand Values Casual This type of beer is meant used for a casual night of gaming with friends. Its meant to be taken in slow and take some time to savor in the taste. Not to be chugged. Original A new craft beer with a demographic that is strictly directed to gamers. People drink all the time at sports events but with the use of technology rising, in this case video games, Rift is for those gamers that can have their own special drink that is not an energy drink. Immersion Our brand is meant to make the consumer feel like they are even more connected to the game than before. Or at least have more fun with it.

Brand Mission The mission and purpose of our craft beer product is to give you a more enjoyable experience, no matter what you’re doing. Exploring a mountain side in a RPG (Role-Playing Game) or working as a team to infiltrate an enemy base in a FPS ( First Person Shooter) game. But our main focus is to brew this beer for the people who enjoy LAN (Local Area Network) parties during the weekends rather partying in the nearest college town. A drink that is meant to enjoy with friends no matter what the occasion. Made for the people like you who want to start off the LAN party just right or relax and have a casual night.

Using the common wolf character as a mascot for the brand can help anyone identify that this box belongs to Rift craft beer. A wolf in the dark woods goes with the theme of the a geographical formation called a Rift. The home page of the website has a background image of a rift; along with the billboard advertisement and the magazine ad which contains the commonly found trees and the wolf.

The age verification page, which pops up be-fore entering the website. The user will have to type in their birth date (month, day, and year) and then hit submit pro-ceed further. If the user is not of age, the user is denied access.

The Age Verification page is black and white because it’ll surprise the user when they come to the more colorful website.

Home Page

This is the Rift Home page with its hand made background made in Photoshop. A minimalist background with the mountain formations and trees are silhouetted with solid colors.

After the user submits their age, they’ll come to the home page. Near the top of the page is the directatory containing a videos, beer, locater, and contact page. Clicking on any one of the tabs, the user will be taken to it’s page. Also on the home page is the brand mission and clickable links in the bottom that take the user to the Rift Facebook and Twitter page.

Our Beer Page

The Our Beers page with each beer profile in a metallic gold format and each of the stat bars are colored coated. Below is an image of all the beers lined up diagonally.

The Our Beers page contains the list of different Rift beers. In the form of profile with stats that shows what that particular beer is strong at to help give the user a good idea on what beer they would want to buy. Similar to what stats would look like in a video game.

Videos Page

The Video page of the website contains a short humorous ani-mated commercial for Rift craft beer. The user just needs to push the play button in the center to enjoy all of its 15 second of goodness.

The Videos page with two images of the beers that are slightly pointed in toward the video player. All the pages have the background that is also found with the labels.

Location Page

The Location page now shows the states colored when one of the beer choices are selected. A zip code can also be enter for a more specific location.

The Location page where the user can find what kind beer is available in what part of the country. The user can click the circle next to what kind of beer they want and the states with that available kind of beer will be color-coated.

Last is the Contact Us page with doesn’t contain any awesome of creative designs but the functionality of this page is what’s more important.

The Contact Us page, which is where the user can go to ask any question or problems they have about our brand of beer. Fill out the information, the question to be asked, and then hit send.

The purpose of this billboard advertisement is to catch the attention of drivers. Rift craft beer ads are known to have the common items: trees and a wolf to represent. Being placed on a route to a near by grocery store or liquor store is an ideal spot because people above the age of 21 most likely will do their own grocery shopping. Being located at an major intersection give the drivers enough time to look at the billboard without taking their eyes off of the road while driving. The billboard has a nice landscape image and the bottle on the left with the logo. To really catch the attention of the viewer, there is a hole punched through the billboard with a dark wolf looking through with a bright green eye.

The purpose of the magazine ad, in a way, is to exaggerate the immersion, one of the brand value of Rift. Again, the common elements exist in this ad: the wolf and a forest. Now the type of magazine is important in order to attract the right demographic and not seem awkwardly place in the wrong kind of magazine. An ad like this wouldn’t work in celebrity or beauty magazines. Viewers can see our ad in magazines like Game informer, a gaming magazine, which is handed out by Game Stop to those with a rewards membership. Even though its a brand a beer based around a video game theme, magazines like Sports Illustrated is a good option because its still targeted towards the male demographic.

This side of a building ad serves a similar purpose as the billboard ad but Its target more towards people walking by. In a place where billboards don’t seem to fit like in a small downtown area. It’ll be seen better in a place where buildings are more close together and viewers will come across it while the walk around the corner.
