10 Rounds XPCA fat burning, muscle toning, extreme power circuit that mixes boxing, kickboxing, TRX, cardio, core, and weights that has you out the gym in 30 minutes. As you maneuver your way through 10 rounds, you’ll kick, punch, squat, and more for 2.5 minutes at each station.

REV and FlowRev up the heat and burn, baby, burn. This class dials down the pace and cranks up the intensity by connecting strength, balance, and flexibility. Repetitive movements and empowering rhythms are paired to work your entire body. So you can expect to get strong and lean from head to toe...and leave renewed from the inside out.

Fight Club 45This high-intensity total-body boxing interval training workout tones your body and decreases body fat! Each class will consist of 2-3 minute rounds on the heavy bags, active rest, and a core workout to shred your abs.

FightFight is our kickboxing with a spiritual warfare flare. With music by some of our top contemporary artists, we encourage you to come to class with whatever the enemy has challenged you with and leave it on the floor! Fight it out with a great combination of choreographed high impact taekwondo and kickboxing movements! (Ephesians 6:12)

Ride (Spin alternative) Ride from the shoreline to the hills in this journey that is designed to provide you with the optimum in fat burning and strength building. This ride will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints, and other drills to give you a great interval workout. Come fi nd the inspiration you’ve been looking for to help you achieve your personal goals. This class is for the beginners as well as seasoned cyclists!

ReFIT®EXPERIENCE FITNESS + BUILD COMMUNITY + MAKE IMPACTREFIT® is a dance-based cardio format that combines powerful moves with uplifting music to create a “more than fi tness” experience. A variety of rockin’, value-infused music styles will get your heart pumping and your mood lifted! Cardio, toning, and flexibility combine to form a class appropriate for all ages, shapes, and sizes. Moves can easily be modifi ed to meet the needs of any fi tness level- from beginner to enthusiast. Join us for this inspiring MIND+BODY+SOUL+SPIRIT workout!

Stretch (yoga alternatives)This class focuses on gently stretching and healing the connective tissue through a series of holding postures. Students will focus on breathing naturally rather than a guided intentional breath pattern and leave class feeling relaxed yet energized and refreshed!

PraiseMovesThis class is for all fi tness levels, offering a Stretch style workout for the mind, body, and spirit! It is a yoga alternative, combining powerful stretching and meditating on the Word of God by utilizing scripture (1 Corinthians 6:19) – all done to motivational and inspirational Christian music.

Sculpt and ToneThis 30 minute workout is designed to tone and sculpt your body into shape! Build strength and increase muscle tone, with a combination of dumbbells, bodyweight, and core exercises for a total body workout.

Strength (Body Pump alternative)Strength is one of our most popular classes here at the ROC Fitness Center! This body sculpting and muscle chiseling class will guarantee a change in how you feel about your body, while expanding on your bodies functional movement abilities. Using weighted bars and dumbells, this class is the powerhouse through to fi tness. We will work with pre-meditated precision all the major muscle groups using traditional exercises motivated by inspirational Christian music. Be prepared to be well-defi ned. The journey is yours to take – take it!

You must be 16 to participate in a group exercise class without an adult. Anyone younger than 16 may participate only when accompanied by an adult and given permission by the instructor of each individual class.

class descriptions

It’s never too late to start exercising. Active lifestyles are important for maintaining health as well as quality of life. Moreover, exercise can benefi t older adults mentally as well as physically. Moderate exercise can help alleviate stress and potentially reduce feelings of depression. Additionally, regular exercise may be able to improve mental function. Some studies have found regular exercise contributes to improvements when quickly shifting between tasks as well as planning an activity. Furthermore, doctors recommend weight-bearing, flexibility, and resistance exercise for those who suffer from osteoporosis.

With respect to SilverSneakers, regular participation in the program has been documented to help older adults increase strength, balance, and endurance.

ChairFitness ClassThis class utilizes hand weights and upbeat music to offer a great cardio/muscle workout for our senior adults. It is especially ideal for those with limited mobility or other physical limitations that demand a non-impact workout or a workout from a seated position

SilverSneakers FitnessProgram SilverSneakers is a fun exercise program designed exclusively for older adults. It is a fi tness benefi t found in many leading Medicare insurance plans. The program helps older adults pursue fi tness goals on their own terms. SilverSneakers provides guidance as well as convenient group exercise classes to help older adults improve general fi tness, strength, flexibility, and walking ability. The program’s social events can also help you fi nd new friends who also want to pursue an active lifestyle like you.

SilverSneakers is provided by a third party partner, Healthways, Inc., contracted with health plans offering the benefi t.

BootCampThis class is for anyone who has been working out routinely (3-4 days a week) for at least eight weeks, is already physically � t, and wants to be pushed “to the limits” with their workout. It’s a circuit environment, alternating cardio, fast twitch, and muscular endurance exercises, with the extra motivation of working in a small group environment. A variety of equipment is used to keep the workout fresh and fun, and paired with the motivational music, you’ll leave knowing you didn’t come all this way for nothin’!

*This is the only workout needed in a day. Due to the intensity of this class, it is recommended no additional workout be done in the 24 hour period prior to participating in this class.

BoomTM MuscleMuscle incorporates athletic-based exercises that improve upper body conditioning. You’ll move through several “blocks,” which are groups of exercises that focus on different muscle groups. The focus of this class is on toning muscles and building overall strength.

SilverSneakersStabilityStability is the newest class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. The movements taught in class focus on specifi c exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving your reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and is suitable for nearly every fi tness level. It can be adapted depending on the skill of individual participants. A chair may be used for balance and support.

Modern Western Line DancingLearn how to line dance by following specifi c choreography and repeated dance steps to a wide variety of music. There are many benefi ts to line dancing – such as aiding in flexibility and balance, muscle toning and coordination, helps with memory and mental fi tness and reduces stress and increases energy levels. Dancing is a low impact exercise that excercises the mind and body at the same time. Dancing also allows you to interact socially and make new friends and keep in touch with old friends.
