In week 9 the Prep students went on an adventure to Woolworths Inala. We learnt about healthy eating and how some of the food is made at Woolworths. Our favourite parts of the excursion was decorating cupcakes and going inside the giant freezer.

On Wednesday 18th September 4D, 4B and 4M viewed a wildlife demonstration as a part of the Brisbane City Councils “Bush Neighbours Program”. The students were able to view a number of native Australian animals including a Blue Tongue Lizard, Eastern Long Neck Turtle, Sugar Glider Possum, Tawny Frogmouth and a Coastal Python. Students learnt about each animal’s needs and what they can do to help them to survive in their own habitats. The highlight of the session was when the students were able to hold the Coastal Python!
