Personal Reflections:

-It is good to see that a state such as Alabama is willing to move forward with new and interesting ways of educating students.

-I am hopeful that many other states will move away from only using textbooks in classrooms. Web based curriculums will be an integral part of moving education forward into the future. Many students are already immersed in the internet at home, so we must include the internet in education as well.

Personal Reflections:

-As a future teacher, it is great to hear about another teacher’s experiences with technology education. I hope to use technology as an integral part of my classroom, and Ian Finn’s experience will influence how I teach.

-I believe more schools should be required to have technology educators to help students and other teachers integrate technology into the classroom.

Personal Reflections:

-I can only imagine how much more I would have enjoyed my younger years in school if I had the same access to technology that these students have. I am jealous!

-In a situation where students have so much more technology at their fingertips, teachers must be prepared to effectively use this technology to enhance the classroom.
