Created Agile team development structure both on-shore and off-shore. Provided the customer earlier
visibility of the product by a MVP release approach.
Managed the TUPE process of over 25 staff from Opticians IT into Boots IT including consultation
processes.
Chair of the Extended IT leadership team. Sponsor of the Boots IT Induction process.
Part of the Agile Delivery IT Board and involved with recent No7 Hackathon.
Sept 2013 – present. IT Portfolio Manager for Opticians. Implementation of replacement
PMS with embedded enterprise Appointment Booking solution whilst supporting existing
legacy systems.
March 2013 – Sept 2013. Director – Global Changepoint PPM system.
Responsibility for the Strategy & Operation of the Global Project Portfolio tool
(Changepoint) across a 6000 Experian user base.
Main achievement - Lead PPM market place evaluation, Global roll out of Changepoint 2012 to
Marketing Services Product Development Team (NYC, Melbourne, France & UK ) & construction
of Global support team (Dallas).
Jan 2008 – March 2013. Programme Manager - EIM Multiple Project delivery
Responsibility for the delivery of Global Information reporting into MSGPD,
PMO best practice across the group, whilst delivering key Projects.
Main achievement - The Labour Party – data warehouse solution for canvassing. Value £2.5M. Client
sign off achieved Jan09. Secondments into; IT, Marketing, QAS & Data Analytics Business for
delivery of a number of key projects including; IE7 Global rollout, QAS Radar, POC Vodafone Data
Capture, Zurich Insurance, Skipton Building Society, National Express, Coors, POC Concept &
Changepoint.
Oct 2003 - Jan 2008. Corporate Shared Services Project Manager (Head of
Business Improvement). Responsible for delivery of multiple business projects.
Key Project - 2yr Project to obtain Legal Software Compliancy (mainframe & Wintel) across
Experian UK, £5M risk adverted & £500K cost savings achieved (IT CEO Sponsor). Other projects
included; Acquisition Migration, Cost Savings Opportunities Programme, Oracle purchasing system
improvement programme (reduce GRNI risk). Implementation of ‘Black & White’ default printing –
cost saving = £250K a year. Implementation of e-travel solution. Centralised Experian UK Domain
Name process, Experian UK car scheme process improvement programme. Business Continuity
planning for Technology Services. Secondment on Project Diamond (as requested by Experian
board) – Global Centralised Shared Services.
Nov 2001 – Oct 2003. Project/Risk Manager for Corporate Shared Services &
IT Services. Responsible for delivery of multiple business projects.
Introduced 6 Sigma methodologies & run a number of 6 sigma projects. Management of all Risk
Assessments and Post Implementation Reviews with in Technology Services . Chair of IT Service
Management Forum – promoting best practice with in the Business.
May 1998 – Nov 2001. Various Positions; Programme/Operations Manager
for BMW UK. Part based in Munich, Project Manager - Six Sigma Black Belt,
IT Service Manager Key achievement - Responsible for a successful deployment of NT to 2500 users, an NT Domain and
Unix SP Clusters into the BMW Oxford Car Plant, within budget and timescales. Heavily involved in
the concept, design and testing stage, including liaison with both UK and German requirements, using
Six Sigma methodology. Six Sigma Benefit claim of £0.5M with the improvement of the Bonded Stock
process. Improvement process completed for Outstanding Invoice Payments, reducing average
payment time by 27 days.
