Fungicide inputs

10/03/2017 10At the root of all the best...

RGT Gravity is a high input/high output variety that has a high response to fungicides.

Suggested fungicide programme:• T0- CTL ( + Triazole if YR is present )

• T1- SDHI + triazole +CTL

• T1.5 (Optional) – CTL +/- triazole if necessary

• T2 – SDHI + triazole +CTL

Straw Strength

RGT Gravity is a medium tall variety that is relatively non-responsive to PGR inputs ( Ratings 7 –PGR and 7 +PGR ).

In normal situations a split chlormequat at GS30 & 31 should be sufficient.

In thick, forward crops include Moddus or Canopy ( GS30-31)

In situations of high risk include Terpal ( GS37-45 ) or Canopy ( GS37-39 )

Ripening +/- JB Diego

RGT Gravity flowers early and ripens

1 day later than JB Diego. This long

flowering/grain filling period, plus it’s

large biomass is what gives

RGT Gravity its yield.

In dry springs if tillers are lost RGT

Gravity can compensate by laying down additional

grain sites, which is what gives

The variety its consistent yields

RGT Gravity - Summary

10/03/2017 14At the root of all the best...

RGT Gravity is a high input/high output variety suited to drilling from late September to the end of January

Strengths:

Consistent high yields over soil types, regions and rotational

position.

OBM and YR resistance

Watchouts:

Straw length under high fertile situations.

Eyespot and S.tritici in high disease situations.
