• Are you willing to be at camp, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well?

• Are you willing to go to the edge of your comfort zone to be the compassion of Jesus to those he calls ‘the most innocent’?

• Are you willing to acknowledge that these abused kids need Jesus more than they need you?

• Are you willing to trust God looking to him to be real, to change Lives through you and others, and desire no personal credit?

• Are you willing to pray for Jesus’ compassion to be lived out in you because both you and the campers desperately need Him?

• At week’s end are you willing to trust that God loves the campers more than you do, and that you will not see most of the impacts of your efforts until you get to heaven?

If you can’t remember everything we teach you at least remember this:

“Technique will never replace Love” &

“Children need the experience of being loved, not a lecture about it.”

SOTO

• A Counselor from Geneva Ill. commented that his two campers wanted to swim in the lake so he got in with them even though it was freezing cold. He said” if it was my own two boys I wouldn't have been in the water, but for these boys, I did it”.

Camp is for the camper, get in the water!

In Ecclesiastes 4:1 Solomon says: Then I returned and considered all the oppression

that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter.

YOU will be able to be a comforter to the oppressed for one life changing week.
