The RFID application project for six years will be carried out by the U.S.

Department of Defense, being expected to save $1.7 billion (optimistic

evaluation) or $ 0.7 billion (conservative evaluation) for America after

7 years. RFID technology associated with the warehouse control of

military articles will improve the speed of transmitting the documents

and the accuracy of manual work information; presently, the introduction

inspections for all kinds of RFID technology have been engaged by the

armed forces in Taiwan in order to promote the whole logistic efficiency

of the warehouse control for the military articles.

The most characteristic of Smart Stand is the RFID application on Item Level which emphasizesthe system fram of Stand Alone, avoiding the operation surface of installation of field engineeringand complicated system and allowing items put everywhere only with the main power. It canbe largely develpled with unlimited potential on the unmanned application in the future.

RFID

The investment reward rate is the comparison between efficiency and cost. This is a major financial target when considering the

construction of RFID in the industry. It is only the reduction of investment cost and advantage of efficiency that can improve the

investment reward rate. The factor of cost will reduce following the creation of RFID standard products and market competition;

however, the increase of efficiency will depend on the reconstruction of processes and innovation of application software to reach

the maximum of greatest. In the future, RFID application software will be increasingly developed towards standardization, and

offered in the form of flexible frame to make satisfaction of the need for change and adjustment.
