RFID BASED BOOK TRACKING SYSTEM FOR LIBRARIES
SYNOPSIS:
The paper presents a new approach to establish a wireless technology for the locality of
book location, and continuously track locations of these books. Track the book continuously it
transmit book and along with location information will passed to transceiver and then
transceiver passed to control monitoring place receiver. In this system we maintain information
of the book activities.
The project describes a radio frequency-based and zigbee based system for location
identification and tracking. The basic design of the system consists of transmitters in the
environment, transceivers on the book or object for which location information is desired, and
a receiver in the environment. Each of these three pieces of hardware and their associated
software are designed.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Manual operation
Unsafe
Books Theft
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
To remove manual book keeping of records
Traceability of books and library members as they move
To minimize the manual errors and theft control
Less time consumption as line of sight and manual interaction are not needed for RFID-tag reading.
