Nationalist and CommunistIn all of Asia, revolutionary Marxism had its

greatest impact in China1920 Nationalist Party and Communist Party

join forces to force out the Chinese warlords and imperialist powers (Europeans)

The two parties worked together to raise an army and took control of south China

Eventually the two parties would become enemies

Kai-shek killed thousands of communist in Shanghai

This ended the alliance1928 Chiang Kai-shek founded a new

republic in Nanjing
