What is the NEW Silver Solution? WHY USE THE NEW SILVER SOLUTION The following information is provided by the manufacturer. And because the bacteria can transfer genes among themselves, experts only expect

the resistance to grow. The potential nightmare is an Andromeda strain, a super-microbe immune to all antibiotics that could wreak havoc.”

In 1994 Newsweek featured a six page article titled, “Antibiotics, The End Of The Miracle Drugs?” It was the cover story. The article states, “The rise of drug-resistant germs is unparalleled in recorded history.” It goes on, “Penicillin and tetracycline lost their power over staph back in the 1950's and 60's. Another antibiotic, methicillin, provided a backup for a while, but methicillin-resistant staph is now common in hospitals and nursing homes worldwide...Trying to cripple the bacteria’s defenses...will not do much more than buy us five to ten years...A better strategy might be to abandon antibiotics altogether in favor of different kinds of drugs.”

The September 1995 issue of Time Magazine featured an article titled, “Revenge of the Killer Microbes”. The article states, “Faced with AIDS and with an ever increasing number of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, doctors were forced to admit that the medical profession was actually retreating in the battle against germs. The question ceased to be, ‘When will infectious disease be wiped out?’ and became “Where will the next deadly new plague appear?’...Humanity once had the hubris to think it could control or even conquer all these microbes. But anyone who reads today’s headlines knows how vain that hope turned out to be. New scourges are emerging -- and older diseases like tuberculosis are rapidly evolving into forms that are resistant to antibiotics,...In 1992, 13,300 hospital patients died of infections that resisted every drug doctors tried.”

Has drug resistance slowed down since 1995? No! Quite to the contrary, bacteria are becoming more resistant and deadly strains can develop very quickly, sometimes within hours. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, for example,(the leading cause of infection in hospitals, also known as just “staph”) now has over 2,800 different strains to its evolutionary credit. In an article released on July 10, 2001 on the Washington (AP), it states: “Staph bacteria can quickly swap genes with relatives to turn into virulent, dangerous germs that can cause disease and resist antibiotics, a new study shows... This is occurring at a far more greater frequency than we anticipated, said Musser (the scientist who did the study), the drug resistant strains can be created many times. It is not a single strain that is created once and then spreads. Slayers, who is president of the American Society for Microbiology, said the work by Musser is important because it confirms what has long been suspected - that whole gene structures can jump from bacteria to bacteria, creating new strains of antibiotic resistant bugs within a matter of hours.”

The question now becomes an individual one. What can I do to keep my family and friends safe from these new strains of deadly bacteria? We as parents are obviously not willing to sit around and watch our loved ones die of diseases that were once so easily treated! But what can we actually do?

Stronger antibiotics are not the answer, despite what some may claim. The side effects of these drugs are dangerous and deadly. The question may not be if you can survive the disease, but will you survive the treatment? On May 29, 2001 , in the USA Today responses to editorials section, NNFA CEO, David R. Seckman

wrote, “How safe are prescription drugs? According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, safe enough to make them the fourth-leading cause of death in the United States . And what about over-the-counter medications? Popular painkillers such as ibuprofen, the New England Journal of Medicine says, cause 17,000 deaths per year.”

Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) tests were performed with E.coli serotype 0157:H7 (more popularly known as the Jack-in-the-box bacteria), which has been associated with hemorrhagic colitis due to ingestion of contaminated food. The following page contains data from seven strains of potentially pathogenic bacteria. They are the same strains that have been tested in Minimum Inhibitory Concentration tests (MIC) against The NEW Silver Solution. This data contains, along with the data on The NEW Silver Solution, MIC's performed on each bacteria versus representative of five different classes of antibiotics. These tests were performed to ascertain the relative antimicrobial activity of The NEW Silver Solution when compared to other antibiotics. As the data suggests, The NEW Silver Solution has a greater ability on average to kill the bacteria tested than four of the five antibiotics to which it was compared. Each antibiotic has its own niche to fill, but not one of the antibiotics tested work equally well on every bacterial strain that it was tested against, The NEW Silver Solution had similar results for each bacteria - it was able to kill each bacteria tested. Furthermore, there are antibiotic-resistant strains that may or may not succumb to a given antibiotic. This is where The NEW Silver Solution data comes in - although The NEW Silver Solution may not have inhibited a strain of bacteria at a lower concentration than a given antibiotic, it inhibited every strain of bacteria tested, which is more than can be suggested for some of the other antibiotics, given the data.

The average was taken from all data points to obtain the average minimum inhibitory concentration for an antibiotic. Then a standard

deviation was determined to give an error. All concentrations were calculated in parts per million (ug/ml). The abbreviation "no inh," stands for "No inhibition of growth." And ">" means that the measurement of the bacteriocidal concentration was beyond the limits of the test. INDEPENDENT SAFTEY DATA

In order to insure not only the best product, but also a safe product, an international and independent laboratory was hired to do a toxicology study on The Silver Solution. The test, called an LD-50 test, was performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) Regulations, 16 CFR 1500.

WATER TREATMENT TESTS

Procedure:

I collected 500 ml of raw (Provo River water) sample and inoculated the sample with 2 loops (3mm) of Klebsiella oxtyoca. Using the membrane filter technique for total coliform, five 100 ml of aliquots of the sample were filtered.

Number 1 was spiked with a .10 mg/l concentration of silver solution. Number 2 was spiked with a .20 mg/l concentration of silver solution. Numbers 3 and 4 were each spiked with a .50 mg/l concentration of silver solution. A positive control of 100 ml was used without silver addition.

A 1.5 minute contact time was allowed on sample 1 before filtering. A 2 minute contact time was used on sample 2. A 10 minute contact time was used for samples 3 and 4.

The filters were incubated at 35° C for 24 hours.

RESULTS: The positive control = 705 cfu/100 ml. Samples 1 thru 4 contained 0 cfu/100 ml.

The study, IITRI 1708 SN1, investigating the sporicidal properties of 22 ppm NEW Silver Solution PLUS against anthrax is complete. The protocol and results are as follows:

Bacillus anthracis ANR-1 was grown on sporulation media, harvested into deionized water, heat-shocked, and stored as a spore suspension. The final concentration of this spore suspension was approximately 1 x 109 spores/ml.

A total of 33 conical tubes were filled with 4.95 ml 22 ppm NEW Silver Solution PLUS and inoculated with 50µl of B. anthracis spore suspension, for a final concentration of approximately 1 x 107 spores/ml. Three of the tubes were harvested immediately by dispensing 1 ml into 9 ml TSB, serially diluting in saline, and plating on TSA. Fifteen of the tubes were incubated at room temperature, while the remaining 15 were incubated at 37ºC. At time points 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours three tubes from each incubation temperature were harvested as above. An additional Time 0 control of 50µl spore suspension in 4.95 ml sterile water was also used. The plates were incubated at 37ºC for 48 hours, and colonies were counted. The results in Table 1.

Minimal reduction in spore numbers was seen compared to the Time 0 control. After 4 hours, a reduction of approximately half a log (93%) was seen at both incubation temperatures, while at 6 hours a reduction of approximately 1 log (99%) was seen only at 37ºC.

Environmental controls were negative for growth, and no contamination was observed on the plates.

NEW Silver Solution Kills Resistant Hospital Staph Infection

Alpine, Utah: September 16th , 2002. American Biotech Labs has just finished its first set of tests using the NEW Silver Solution® against the MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria as well as Candida albicans yeast and the Trichomonas vaginalis protozoa.

Staphylococcus aureus can cause serious blood poisoning when it enters a wound. It was once easily treated with penicillin, but it has now mutated to the point where it is totally resistant to it. The next defense on the antibiotic ladder has been methicillin, but the strains of the bug that are resistant to methicillin have become increasingly common, especially in hospitals. Homeopathic Uses of The NEW Silver Solution Excerpt From “The New Silver Solution”, by Kenneth S. Friedman, Ph.D.

The following is a compendium of general suggestions that have been made by individuals who have used The New Silver Solution in treating themselves and/or others. It is important to note that these are not scientific double-blind studies conducted with large numbers of people. They do not pretend to be definitive,

but may be suggestive. It is important that one consult his or her health care professional in the context of any problems or treatments.

Asthma: One of the most interesting reports coming from the study of The New Silver Solution is its effect on asthma. Several people have reported that the silver solution taken orally can stop asthma attacks. One individual who reported that he has suffered from asthma since he was five years old and had to take broncho-dilators six times a day, said that he started taking the solution for a deep chest cough and was surprised when after about 10 days his asthma attacks completely ceased. He reported that he was taking two teaspoons of the solution every three to four hours during the day when the attacks stopped. He then stopped taking the solution to see if it was really The New Silver Solution that helped the asthma. The asthma recurred after three days. He then restarted taking The New Silver Solution and again the asthma got better. After taking the initial dose for about a month, he cut his use to one teaspoon in the morning and one at night. That was sufficient to prevent the recurrence of asthma attacks.

Athletes Foot: Spray directly on the cleaned infected area and let dry. In addition, saturate a clean sock over the infected area and wear as usual.

Burns and Cuts: Spray The New Silver Solution directly onto the wound. Leave uncovered and wet for 5-20 minutes per application. Apply one to three times per day, depending on severity. Personal reports suggest that the burns and cuts will heal very rapidly. One little girl had splashed scalding oil on her face and had a large burn area. Her mother sprayed the solution directly on the burn twice daily and left it wet with the solution for 15-20 minutes. The girl showed an 85%-90% recovery within two weeks. Six months later, there was virtually no visible scarring on the girl.

Cankers and Other Mouth Sores: Take approximately one tablespoon of The New Silver Solution for at least five minutes. Repeat this two to three times a day. Noticeable improvements within 24 hours have been commonly reported.

Diabetic Neuropathy: Because of impaired circulation, it is common that for diabetics cuts and scratches heal more slowly. Taking The New Silver Solution appears to shorten healing time and also to reduce pain in the exremities. The solution should be both taken internally (1-2 tsp per day) and sprayed directly on affected areas two to three times daily.

Diaper and Other Rashes: For diaper rash spray affected area with silver solution at each change of diaper. Leave wet and put on new diaper. For other skin irritation and rashes, spray affected area and leave wet for at least five minutes. Repeat two or three times per day. Expect improvement in most cases within 24 hours.

Ear Aches: Most ear infections are caused by Steptococcus pneumonia or H. influenzae bacteria. The New Silver Solution has been proven to kill both organisms. Lie down on bed or couch with affected ear facing up. Place five to seven drops of colloidal silver in ear. Remain in this lying position for a minimum of ten minutes, preferably for at least 30 minutes. Repeat two or three times per day. Noticeable improvement has been reported in as little as 4-24 hours.

Eye Infections: The US EPA has reported that silver is neither an eye or skin irritant. Silver has also been used in the eyes of newborn babies for over a hundred years because of its ability to combat eye infections. Spray or drip a few drops of the 12 ppm silver solution into the eye, two to three times a day to combat infection. Good results have been reported within 1-3 days. The new silver solution has also been used to alleviate sore or tired eyes, use the same as directed above.

Flu: Take one tablespoon of The New Silver Solution by mouth two to three times per day. Hold the solution in the mouth (gargle, if possible) for three to five minutes before swallowing. Provided one takes the colloidal silver at the onset of the flu, noticeable improvement has been reported in one to three days. If the flu has become entrenched in the body, improvement is slower.

Food Poisoning: The New Silver Solution has been proven to kill six types of bacteria that commonly cause food poisoning. Drink one ounce of solution at onset. Positive results have been reported in as little as 10 minutes, and as long as three hours.

Fungus Infections of the Feet: A well-regarded veteran, east coast podiatrist treated one patient with mycotic toenails with The New Silver Solution. The results were sufficiently impressive over a four-month period that he has begun treating others with this solution. File the shine off the toenail (to increase porosity) and then spray the solution directly on the infected toenail or apply the solution directly with a cotton ball. Repeat two to three times daily.

Sore Throat: Both the antibacterial and the anti-inflammatory properties of The New Silver Solution may play a role in its affect on sore throats. Take one to two tablespoons, gargle for four to five minutes, and swallow. Repeat tow or three times per day. It may also be helpful to spray or drip some solution into the nasal passages. Reports indicate noticeable improvement with 12-48 hours.

Sunburn: Silver is the number one treatment for burns across the U.S. One doctor has been using the NEW Silver Solution for over a year to treat radiation burns on his patients, and has reported outstanding results.
