I. Biblical worship proclaims the holiness of God.

A. Worshipers must come to God with the right kind of spirit.

B. Worshipers must come to God in truth.C. Biblical worship that honours God will

certainly be blessed.II. Biblical worship pronounces the sinfulness of men.

A.Biblical worship will include Christians in con-structive self-evaluation.

A holy living is impossible apart from a holy God. Such is a simple statement that reminds us of our theme this month, “Revival through our Holy Living.”

We better thank God that He did not make it hard on our part to have an access to His presence through His Word and through prayer.

We must be observant on how God is always giving us opportunities to be molded to be like Him. Amidst a crooked, sinful world we have to face everyday, a holy life will only be possible through Christ. Many Filipinos are still thinking that the election last week will change our country, but I still believe that only God through His established institution can do it. That is why we must give importance to the local church… an organization that will edify us to be like Christ. Let us open our eyes and hearts as He strengthens us today through hard preaching, lively singing, and good Christian fellowship. Let us do our part with the best of our ability to help our church soar high for God as we reach more souls, and strive to be holy.

Meanwhile, these next two weeks will be busy-filled days as every area embarks on Daily Vacation Bible School. Members, make sure you involve in your respective area and support your area leader. You may not be teaching, but your presence and assistance will be a blessing. Let us pray that many children and families will respond well to the Gospel. Let us realize that this is one of the best ways we can help our community to be closer to God.

CBBA Alumni’s Mission Trip

28 alumni of Christian Bible Baptist Academy had a mission trip to CBBC Mission in Noveleta, Cavite on May 10-11. Upon arrival at 6 P.M., they went soul-winning and everybody came back rejoicing with a total of 109 souls won for the night. Afterwhich, they were challenged to be used of God in the ministry by the devotion given by Preacher Ryan Porcioncula. Opening the next day was a group devotion to set the alumni’s spirit as they shared the impact of the trip to their Christian life. After playing basketball, they completed a general makeover for the one-week old mission house. A swimming fellowship of reminiscing the “good-old-CBBA days” followed in the afternoon.

Area 18 is composed of the following places in Muntinlupa City: Katarungan Village - 1 and 2, Vicar - New and Old Compound, Katihan, Makabuhay, Balimbing, Teacher’s Village, Tennis 1, Corokan, Magdaong, Brgy. South Ville 3 - relocation site, Sampaguita where Medium Size Jail is located, and Malipay, which is a part of Bacoor, Cavite. God be praised for area members who are faithfully attending all church services though they come from far-flung places, taking two to three rides just to come to church.

Area 18 has more than 20 active members, with 13 soulwinners, who are blessed by the Lord with an average of 50 souls won per week. It has two Bible Studies during Thursday afternoon; one at the Francisco residence in Brgy. South Ville 3 and the other one at the Nangit home in Magdaong. Each of these Bible Studies has 12 to 13 attendees. Home Bible studies are also conducted during Saturdays. The area is still praying to God to have a Bible Study Center at Brgy. South Ville 3. At present, Area 18 is using three jeepneys every Sunday, two from South Ville 3, and one from Sampaguita, and is bringing an average of 20 first time visitors every Sunday.

Last NBCY 11, two of our young people surrendered their lives to God. One surrendered to study in the Bible College and the other surrendered to join the choir ministry. It is truly a joy to see the power of the Lord that is working in the lives of these young people, who have made the right decision, and are serving as good examples to other young people in our area.

Area 18 is now preparing for the DVBS to be held at Brgy. South Ville 3. There are families who are assigned everyday to provide food for the children. It is such an encouragement and a blessing to be with area members who are not only contributing in the area resources, but are also supporting in prayers, and are participating in the ministry as well.

As an area leader, I thank God for this entrusted privilege while I acknowledge our Pastor for this great opportunity to handle the area. I know that there are some marvelous things that God will do in this area as my fellow workers and I will do our best part in the fulfillment of God’s Great Commission. One of our prayers for the members of Area 18 is that they will be drawn closer to God, to the church of God, and to the man of God, as they involve themselves in the ministry, and grow in faith by the grace of God as what 2 Peter 3:18 says. To God be the glory!

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104. Sa pamamagitan ng panalangin, tanggapin mo si Hesus sa

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13

WORDS for the youth

“Maturity is the ability to stick with a job until it’s finished, the ability to do a job

without being supervised, the ability to carry money without spending it, and the ability to

bear an injustice without wanting to get even.”- Abigail Van Buren
