A blessed Sunday to all! We are so privileged to be able to worship God today in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Let us enjoy

His presence, as well as the revival He bestows while we hear the preaching of His Word, learn in our Sunday School, sing hymns of praises, adoration and thanksgiving, give our offerings, witness the salvation of our guests, rejoice for the baptism of new converts, render our service to Him through the ministries He has entrusted to us, meet Him in prayer, and fellowship with our brethren.

This March is our “post-anniversary-celebration month” that calls for our involvement in following-up first time visitors, in inviting people to attend our church services, in winning souls, in supporting our area leaders, in contributing our resources, and in continuing what we have committed ourselves to do during the Anniversary month.

Let us still get excited in doing our best for the Lord. I truly appreciate your participation, and it is my prayer that you will go on being a help, and keep up the good work by His grace.

The Baptist Heritage Bible College (BHBC) has been a ministry of CBBC since 1982 which started as a mini-Bible institute. By God’s grace, it is developed to what it is today with the goal of training preachers who will build great

Baptist churches, as well as men and women who will be aggressive, confrontational soulwinners.

Carrying its theme “Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve,” BHBC has already produced 320 graduates, most of whom are pastors, pastors’ wives, and fulltime church workers. Currently, the College has 171 enrollees for the second semester of 2009-2010, and many of those are staying in our dormitories.

With a unique schedule of classes from Monday until Wednesday only, the students learn great Bible doctrines and practical truths from the teaching staff composed of pastors, preachers and women who are faithful in God’s work. Then, they are able to go on actual field training (church work and soulwinning) for the remainder of the week.

Indeed, the BHBC is a great training ground for men and women who want to do something great for God.

Our church has its own organized discipleship program. This program consists of seven stages with twelve lessons per stage. The teaching style is cluster-approach wherein certified disciplers or teachers would organize their own classes of not more than ten disciplees or students and would teach series of lessons starting from stage one up to stage seven. Each stage pertains to a certain topic or doctrine.

Our discipleship program aims not only to educate but also to challenge every member in soulwinning and in joining other ministries of the church. This ministry is instrumental in the increase of our attendance in our Sunday evening service. Those who have completed the seven stages of lessons will graduate and will become certified disciplers as well.
