Our courses are always provided
by industry specialist instructors
who are skilled in construction
as well as software knowledge.
We provide professional instructor
led training courses for:
· Revit Architecture
· Revit Structure
· Revit MEP
Courses are tailored to suite the
industry sectors your teams will
be working in and are always
discussed closely with you before
delivery of training. Course types
vary but typically include:
2 Day Revit Essentials Training
This course teaches new users
the fundamentals of Revit
covering the use of the parametric
building design and documentation
tools within Revit. Delegates
start by learning the fundamental
features of Revit, and then
progress through schematic
design and construction
documentation, before finishing
with design visualisation.
1 Day Advanced Training
This course builds on the
concepts introduced in the
essentials training, and covers
more advanced topics such as;
site design, advanced rendering
techniques, phasing and design
options, creating basic families
of custom components, and
collaborating on a design.
1-2 Day Content Creation
This course is intended to share
our best practice knowledge and
to develop parametric component
family editing skills in Revit.
We explore a variety of exercises
to develop the knowledge &
workflow required when applying
these skills to build advanced
assemblies and components.
Depending on the delegate’s
prior knowledge of Revit will
dictate a 1 or 2 day course.
Revit Factory currently hosts
two online content management
services including:
• Free Public Domain
Content Downloads
• Subscription Access
Download Libraries
These services can be used to
enhance the productivity and
management of your Revit
components, catalogues etc...
The library allows you to:
• Upload your own content
to the free public library,
• Store favourites in your
personal space.
• Rate review and discuss
existing content.
• Search content quickly
with keyword indexing.
Revit Factory can assess the
requirement for content creation
on your live projects and
model this in parallel with the
development of your Revit
project, meaning you can
focus on the design whilst
we deliver the content.
Best practice is employed when
developing the content and all
components are quality checked
before distribution.
If you require a range of
components from a manufacturer
who doesn’t currently provide
Revit content, why not put
them in touch with us to build
catalogues and product ranges
for you and their other clients.
If you are a manufacturer looking
to expand your portfolio of
services to clients, Revit Factory
can discuss your requirements
and advise the best method for
developing your content in Revit.
Over modelling in Revit can lead
to content not being used due
to its inefficiency. We will look
at the output required and work
backwards to ensure content
is optimised specifically for its
intended purpose i.e. Scheduling,
Graphical Appearance, Formulae,
Detailing, space planning etc...
