-Kids are the main

- To clean up the market

place area and make it

more attractive and

secure for families with

children

- Lower the barrier to meet

and to get to know other

people living in the area.

•Families with kids bypass the Meri-Rastila market place everyday on their way home from the daycare/school.

•Kids want to stop at the

play area to spend some

time with other kids and

to check what kind of

interactive game/show

is running this time.

-Possibility to play outside also in a bad weather

REAL TIME INFORMATION SERVICE

1. My name is Samuel. I work as an administrator at Helsinki public works dept. I’m responsible forupdating information on services that are mainlytargeted for immigrant families in Meri-Rastila. Ireceive information from various service providers by diverse media.

2. Once I receive the information Ivalidate it, and update it on our server. After that, information isreadily available on the information screen in Meri-Rastila market place.

3. Up to date information about services is easily andConveniently available for anyone passing by theMeri-Rastila market place.
