take/relay messages, make copies, assist visitors, and handle travel arrangements and online

Space & catering reservations, scheduling, announcements & advertisements: including

Bi-Annual Event Responsibilities: Creation & procurement of all printed materials, request
payments & reimbursements, create & maintain donor & R.S.V.P. lists, and serve as host at
designated events.
Human Subjects Coordinator: Perform initial review for compliance to regulations, route & track
IRB protocols for the department. Provide support for Human Subjects Chair.
Operate office machinery including personal computers, copiers, printers, fax machine, and
scanner.

Successfully planned and executed six biennial lectures/luncheons for the I/O Psychology
area. Included reserving banquet hall; coordinating with speaker & caterer; designing,
printing & sending R.S.V.P.s and managing the R.S.V.P. list; reserving hotel rooms; and
making travel arrangements.
Successfully planned a 5kRun/1 Mile Walk event for a dog rescue group. Included securing
donations from local businesses to cover costs, soliciting vendors, purchasing items (i.e., t-
shirts, water, medals, etc.) for the event, working with other organizers, creating release
forms, obtaining insurance, working with the venue and timing company, and direct contact
with participants and the rescue.

Serve as a board member on The Dog Park Association of Greater Lafayette – Shamrock
Dog Park for the past 6 years. Helped plan and run various events, fundraisers, and help
with decision making.
Serve as an admin for the Lafayette Indiana chapter of the H2M2 group. Help approve
members to the group, plan and hold monthly events, help with decision making and
running of the group. Answer questions, help maintain Facebook page, and serve as a main
admin for the Lafayette chapter.
Volunteer for Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue – help review applications, do home visits,
and interview potential adopters.
o Coordinating/planning a 5k Run/1 Mile walk event for November of 2014 with the
H2M2 group. Scheduling venue, securing sponsors and vendors for the event, creating
website & Facebook page, designing flyers and T-shirts.
