Architectural Designer specializing in creating 3D visualizations that communicate three essential elements; clarity, form, and experience. With a passion for the historical, and how that transcends into the progressive, has led into developing high quality projects. With over five years of experience in architecture and related industries I have gained extensive knowledge requiring to successfully carry a project from conception to completion. Whether it be the initial stages of planning, design concepts, building code research, presentations, design documents, construction documents, on site job observation, construction admin-istration services. My work background allows me to partake in all areas of project delivery. I am proactive and self-motivated.
Was able to gain extensive knowledge in working mainly on aviation projects with emphasis on Los Angeles International Airport [LAX]. In my role as a project designer, I was responsible for Terminal 2 design and documentation of ticket counters, public restroom interiors, arrivals and departures interiors from design development to bid set. All design solutions were based on sustainable building concepts. Was also heavily involved in the post bid set constructability review. Worked closely with the fabrication shop, construction company, architectural design review committee, project manager, and design manager aiding in the clarifica-tion of details and manufacturer specific information and documentation. Now assisting in the Construction Administration phase of the T2 project with review of shop drawings, submittals and responding to RFI’s. I also contributed to the development of various other projects within the office.
Provided design and construction administration services for the LAX Terminal 2 Renovation. Prepared planning documentation integrating existing passenger terminals for the LAX Central Terminal Area. Assembled deliverables including design criteria from equipment and construction impacts to existing buildings. Prepared Tenant Improvement construction documents for financial institutions. Collaborated on Pepperdine Univer-sity library interior design renovation. Proposed several office layout studies for Prolacta Bioscience. Proposed short term passenger terminal improvements and circulation cores in strategic locations at Arrivals, Departures and Concourse Levels at all terminals. Identified physical conflicts between the proposed vertical cores and existing facilities as well as solutions that illustrate how the Automated People Mover Pedway may be integrated into the existing passenger terminals, and how the elevation differences may be bridged.
