PROJECTS
Vision based Object Detection and Classification, WPI Sept ’16 – Dec ’16
· Implemented robust color based game-canvas detection in cluttered environment using OpenCV, Python.
· Used homography to recover top-view of game canvas.
· Implemented model-based shape recognition to classify among different game objects.
Temporal Logic Motion Planner, WPI Sept ’16 – Dec ’16
· Implemented personality based A* algorithm for global path planning of self-driving car in Python.
· Synthesized sensor-triggered, behavior-based action plan to react to changes in the dynamic environment.
· Used game theoretic approach to guarantee satisfaction of high level temporal logic specifications, at all times.
Topological Motion Planning using Point-sets, VIT Jan ’15 – May ’16
· Designed an O(N logN) algorithm for complete construction of configuration space of robot in SO(2).
· Implemented point-based filters resulting in algorithm suited for parallel and distributed computing.
Curio - A Low Cost Robotic Platform, VIT Jan ’13 – May ’16
· Saved $1000 by designing a custom ROS based system architecture for low-cost research robotic platform - Curio.
· Implemented behavior-based controls by developing Extended State Machine framework on Curio.
· Implemented algorithms for real-time mapping, path planning, behavior-based control and visualization in Python.
· Programmed firmware for motor control, sensor interfacing, data processing and filtering for Arduino.
· Developed, from scratch, a customized simulator for Curio in pygame.
Optimization of Vehicular Grid, VIT Oct ’14 – Dec ’14
· Formulated multi-agent path allocation problem as a multi-variable optimization problem over graph.
