CMHA-LAMBTON KENT - SARNIA, ON (2013 – 2014)Tri-County Manager, Early Intervention for Psychosis Programs in Chatham, Sarnia and Windsor This position was created to standardize best practices of intervention and support for individuals between the ages of 14-35 years of age, affected by a first episode of psychosis. My role as supervisor of these programs was to evaluate and implement a model of care which enhances service delivery for these individuals and their families. My responsibilities included mental health and addiction resource coordination, program evaluation and development, research and analysis of program, and clinical supervision for 16 staff members in three distinct programs. This position also included direct reporting to the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) and liaison with the Ontario Working Group of Early Psychosis Intervention Ontario Network (EPION).

CMHA-WECB WINDSOR, ON (2012 – 2013)Mental Health Emergency Department Placement Coordinator Working in unison with the Emergency Department, Community Crisis Centre and Partial Day Wellness Program at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, my role was to ensure that frequent users of Emergency Department services and/or those in need of community supports and resources were assessed and linked to relevant community agencies and supported in an efficient and effective manner.

Counsellor/Therapist (2010 – 2012)Working through the offices of the Community Counselling Alliance, my role was to provide counselling and mediation supports to individuals, couples and families. Presenting issues included mental health and addiction, unemployment, employer conflict, marital and parent-child conflict resolution. The model of my practice is informed

I was chair of the Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committee (HSJCC) and 672 Mental Health Court Subcommittee. Supervisory portfolio included Mental Health Advocates, Homelessness Initiative Aftercare, Safe bed Program, Justice Case Management Program, Justice Housing Program, Court Support Services, Early Intervention Program, and Transition House.
