To whom it may concern;

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for your consideration. My name is Mimma Croce and I am currently enrolled at Radford University`s Masters program in special education leading to licensure in deaf and hard of hearing Pre-K through 12. I am currently employed in Montgomery County Public Schools as a pareducator in a first grade classroom.

Education is very important to me. The overall well-being, excitement, and growth of all children in my classroom are most significant to me. I want to dedicate my life to the social and physical advancement of children with moderate to severe hearing loss. These children have so much potential despite their hearing loss and I am ready to bring that potential forward through specific teaching styles, motivation, patience, and creativity.

I am a very visual and goal orientated woman and I refuse to hear the phrase I cant within my classroom. So far I have been very successful in implementing the steps of an effective lesson and utilizing reading strategies for hard of hearing students. This has allowed me to develop an understanding of teaching techniques based upon the relationship and confidence built around my students and myself.

I am interested in the position of a Deaf Educator, focusing on the oral educational setting of listening and spoken language. Under a provisional license, I am prepared to bring forth all that I am and all that I have learned to fully educate and become a positive, driven, influence for each child I may come across.

Once again, thank you for your consideration and time.
