History and current condition:

• 2 family house • Original structure is a classic Greek Revival structure circa 1830’s• Porch and rear addition constructed in 1940’s – 1950’s• Interior renovated and most original interior details removed• Vinyl siding added much later (late 20th century)• Failed septic system (cess pool adjacent to wetlands) in 2005• Vacated in 2010

Proposal Summary:• Demolish the existing porches on the west side• Demolish the existing rear addition• Renovate the interior to a 2-3 bedroom, 1-bath 1-family home• Replace the electrical, plumbing and heating• Insulate• Replace, as required, windows, doors, flooring, trim, cabinets &

countertops• Landscape & pave for access/parking• Subdivide lot to leave ~ ¼ acre with the preserved house• Permit and install a new septic system
