Restorative Justice in schools – delivered by school coordinators is a growing trend. This training session will equip and prepare staff assigned to provide Restorative Discipline. Training will include:
• Benefits and challenges to a whole school approach. • How to facilitate and train on Restorative Conversations, Restorative Conferences and Circles. • How to select, screen and prepare participants for Restorative Discipline. • Tips on how to train and work with staff, students, administrators and parents. • Recommendations and examples to develop and implement a referral system and protocols. • Emphasis on how to develop restorative plans, monitor agreements and conduct follow-‐up.

Training Cost $300. For staff in St. Croix and Pierce Counties, the registration is only $150. Registration fees include attendance for both days, refreshments, handouts, resources and lunch.
