    The picturesque Old Town is where the greatest number of restaurants can be found in Płock. The dishes which are served there are both tasty and diverse. Apart from the restaurants, there are also pizzerias, cafes and pubs in Płock Old Town.The menus at the restaurants offer mainly traditional Polish cuisine, with soup made from fermented rye flour, dumplings, borscht and pork chops with fried cabbage as the most popular dishes. Visiting the Old Town, one can also try Mediterranean, Asian and Jewish cuisines. While the Sakura restaurant serves traditional Japanese dishes, the Arturo restaurant offers Italian cooking. The La Petite restaurant specialises in pancakes. The Karczma pod Strzechą restaurant is famous for its dumplings. Beer drinkers should visit the Browar Tumski restaurant, where non-pasteurised and unfiltered beer is brewed in its 350-year-old basement. The restaurants in the Tumski and Starzyński Hotels attract guests with their extensive menus and splendid views over the broad River Vistula. The greatest number of Płock clubs and pubs can be found in Grodzka Street and Narutowicza Square. One may listen to some live music in the Czarny Kot Music and Art Cafe, Rock 69 pub and Estera restaurant.
