GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To provide friendly, efficient and professional service and cleanliness in the restaurant an/ orBar, Lounge,Patio Lounge and on the sun deck to the maximize guest satisfaction with adherence to theGRC standards and procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. He / she is capable of taking food and beverage orders and to deliver a full customerservice according to the GRC standards

2. Responsible for the entire food and beverage service in the restaurant, bar andlounges

3. He /she is responsible for gaining a full understanding into the daily menus4. He / she has a full knowledge of all listed beverages, as per set recipes and

standards5. Responsible for the cleaning of the glassware, china and cutlery6. Co responsible for the cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene of the entire restaurant

department including directed parts of the sundeck, pantries, back office andworkrooms

7. Welcoming and saying goodbye of all guests visiting the restaurant or the public8. Responsible for the daily cashing up of the generated revenue in the restaurant or bar9. Responsible for the proper handling of all food and beverage stock, as well as all

available equipment ( in particular china, glassware and cutlery in the restaurant andbar

10. Responsible to keep controlled the brakeage of the high class china and glass wareon board

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

1. Cooperation with luggage handling2. Cooperation in other departments

3. Participation in the on board training program4. Participation on the daily briefing, and all other scheduled other meetings5. Participation in the crew show6. Participation in all kind of safety drills, according to the captains order
