Restah Company Limited is a Kenyan registered company jointly founded by

Mary Wambui Waithaka and Larry Nyamuthe Shikanga and was Incorporated

On 11 July 2016.

Restah Company Limited is a multidisciplinary engineering and management

service firm comprising of a consortium of Engineers, Architects, Quantity

Surveyors and Land Surveyors.

The firm is wholly owned by Kenyans and locally registered as an Engineering

firm. The firm is committed to offering quality service to its clients including

design build options.

Restah Company Limited Offers extensive construction, design build assist

and design build services in government, non-government, commercial,

industrial and institutional markets. In addition, our firm is 100% Kenya Revenue

Authority (KRA) VAT & TAX Compliance Company.

Restah Company Limited has enjoyed progressive and significant growth under

the current Directorship, to incorporate one of the largest labour forces in the

construction industry.

Our capabilities and reputation for the successful management and completion

of construction projects has also established many long-standing relationships

within the industry.

The size and expertise of the Company also ensures a large percentage of the

work is done “inhouse” and not primarily through subcontractors, giving a

greater control over the quality of the project and the ability to drive performance

requirements.

Restah Company Limited operates primarily throughout Kenya, but we are

venturing to establish presence in other part of Africa.

Today the experience and expertise of Restah Company Limited staff along with

a continued commitment to quality, health and safety and adoption of industry

Our large team of Quantity Surveyors, Engineers and Project Managers ensure

contractual requirements are identified and appropriate methodologies are

utilized, offering our clients practical and economic solutions.

The established culture and independently certified management systems ensure

Limited have a proven reputation and have worked on many large and high-

profile projects, either as a main contractor, key subcontractor, key subcontractor

or in a partnership role.

2.0 OUR STAFF

Our people build successful projects throughout Kenya, Restah’s craft workers,

administrative support staff and managers work together to provide effective

project services. As a merit shop employer, we compensate and promote each

employee based on his or her skills.

Our administrative support staff is cross-trained for different support functions

within the company, Restah’s Project Managers and engineers are experienced in

a variety of project types.

Our key personnel include Director, Managers, Fully qualified team of Engineers,

Technical Director, Administration and Support Staffs, Electrician Mechanics,

Foreman’s and others under their respective departments.

The advancement of employees in technical skills is essential to enhancing our

capabilities, as a significant amount of work is performed by our own crews. We

support four craft apprenticeship programs and provide in-house supervisor

training.

Restah Company Limited is a general contractor who encourages employees to

take continuing education classes which are reimbursed by the Company. We

encourage multi-skills both in the field and in the office, Field craft workers

advance with multiple trade skills.

construction, pre-construction, design-build, design assist build and

construction management service. These services have been successfully

Pre-construction services include detailed estimating, value engineering of

alternate systems, and constructability recommendation. In addition, we

provide based schedules for both pre-construction and construction activities.

Restah’s project managers provide estimating and construction management.

They are support with comprehensive computer systems for cost estimating,

cost control, subcontractor management, document control, submittal

processing, and scheduling.

Often, we communicate electronically with drawings, notes, schedules and

estimates. We have also participated in project management websites which

provide a communication hub for our customers and subcontractors.
