With dedication and innovation, the Olmar brand has been at the forefront of the heating industry since the late 1950s.

Olmar skyrocketed to the top of the Italian market with the production of their first kerosene stove. Their success led to the manufacturing of hobs and the first built-in ovens.

Olmar is recognised as the leader in the industry by the German and English markets for the invention of the first ventilated gas oven. Never before was it as easy to maintain a consistent and continuous temperature with the new and improved ventilated gas oven.

With the production of radiant panels starting in 2018, Olmar progressed to ver-sion 10.0 in heating systems, adding even more value to its patents and ideas. Over 17 scientific studies show that ozone gas is capable of destroying the SARS coronavirus.

Ozone is a natural gas created by oxygen atoms. The oxygen molecule is com-posed of two oxygen atoms. These oxygen molecules are broken into atoms by corona discharge (electrical discharge brought on by the ionization of fluid surrounding a conductor that is electrically energized) during thunderstorms or UV light from the sun. During this phase, some atoms are grouped into freely bound triatomic oxygen. This new molecule is called ozone or O3.

Ozone generators are capable of producing ozone from normal air and are nor-mally used as environmental disinfectants. The pathogenic effects of ozone have been proven for several decades. The destruction of bacteria, viruses,

fungi, and many species of protozoa serves as the basis for its increased use in disinfecting municipal water supplies in cities around the world.

Generally, viruses are small independent particles, built with crystals and mac-romolecules. Unlike bacteria, they multiply only within the host cell. Ozone destroys viruses by spreading through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core, causing damage to the viral RNA (similar to DNA – RNA is a nucleic acid). At higher concentrations, ozone destroys the capsid, or outer protein shell, by oxidation.

Numerous families of viruses including poliovirus 1 and 2, human rotavirus, Norwalk viruses, parvovirus, and Hepatitis A, B and non-A non-B are suscepti-ble to the virucidal actions of ozone.
