How can education integrate relevant information technology, global connectivity and individual expertise in a way that transforms its quality, scale

and meaning for the 4th industrial age

Q

?

We propose the formation of an educational technology platform, RESIGN REPUBLIC, to enable a democratic and “incentive based system” of education. By employing various

tools, like predictive, smart algorithms, data sciences, block-chain technologies, digital in-terfaces, computer programming methodologies and innovative educational models , we

aim to link learning and teaching to three of most important concepts of our time, (i) consensus, (ii) automation and (iii) distributed networks.

The STEAM Room DEV-Lab

“STEM” is an acronym referring to the academic disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The “A”

which has been purposefully included stands for Arts and design. We believe that in order to make a cohesive and a definitive

team, we must include arts and design as an integral force which has the power, capacity and integrity to bring about substantial

wholeness to processes, if integrated at the grassroots.

Decentralized.Validation.Reward

The “blockchain” is a new kind of distributed consensus technology that allows transactions, or other

data, to be securely stored and verified without any centralized authority, by having them validated by the entire network. The system is based on a “reward for

work done” principle.

A Democratic Transition

An online dashboard for students and teachers, but with separate Interfaces. The broad base online platform will incorporate the “third operator” as the

integral knowledge engine where a diplomatic voting protocol will be established with a validation system. The platform will be modular and new features will be

added based on our research.

-A unified educational dashboard-The ability to custom design education

-An integrated assignment system -An automated course recommendation

protocol-A unique data management system

-Unique project validation system-Etc

-A unified dashboard-The ability to assign/validate

tasks-The ability to share information

with students-A unique project assignment/

validation system-Etc

REPUBLIC (TBC)

-Open, non-hierarchical and self-contained environment of knowledge

-A decentralized education model can be very beneficial for all stakeholders

-The role of students and teachers can be re-negotiated for an efficient democratic educational model

-A unique validation system can revolutionize how knowledge in higher-education is dealt with

-Through the power of consensus and the reach of networks, we can exponentially enhance the quality of education

-Through information technologies, we can empower the teachers as well as the students with tools that can be supremely beneficial

-By creating a responsive education-technology platform, we can create real valuable, actionable products based on sound research

-By incorporating a multidisciplinary team we can deal with the complexity of educational issues

-We aim to create a working prototype which can then be used/adopted by institutions, teachers and students for exponential improvements

Thank You
