WHERE DO YOU WANT TO LIVE NEXT YEAR? What if I want to live off campus? All on-campus residents must submit a Housing Application or Housing Policy Exemption Request. The Housing Policy Exemption Request will be available beginning February 3, 2020. For more information about this policy and/or to see if you qualify for an exemption, please visit coloradomesa.edu/residence-life/ housing-information/housing-residency- policy-exemption-requests. What if I forget? Those students who do not participate in the Room Selection process will have the opportunity to apply for 2020–2021 housing beginning March 23, 2020. However, students who choose this option will be assigned a room instead of being able to select their room. STEP ONE Submit the Room Selection Application 9am on February 24, 2020 to 4pm on February 28, 2020 Go to: MyHousing > Applications/Exemption Requests > 2020-2021 Room Selection This is required to participate in Room Selection. Room Selection times are assigned in the order of application. Apply early to be able to select the room you want. After applying, you will be assigned a date and time for when you may select your room. Check the My Housing portal starting March 7, 2020 for your assigned Room Selection date and time. STEP TWO Submit a Roommate Request (optional) 9am on March 2, 2020 to 4pm on March 6, 2020 Go to: MyHousing > Room Selection > Suitemates This is your opportunity to select your roommate(s). All requests must be mutual. If you request one or more roommates, anyone in your roommate group will be able to select room assignments for everyone in the group. STEP THREE Complete Room Selection 9am on March 9, 2020 to 4pm on March 13, 2020 Go to: MyHousing > Room Selection > Select a Room/Suite Select your room on your assigned date and time. If you miss it, you can select your room anytime until 4pm on March 13, 2020.
