RESIDENCE LIFE http://www.cccneb.edu Resident Assistants are peer leaders who serve as a primary point of contact, support, and policy enforcement in the residence halls. Every night, one RA is on duty at the front desk of each hall, including weekends. Each semester, Residence Life recruits new RAs through a competitive ap- plication process. Eligibility criteria for a student include at least 1 semester of experience living in the residence halls, a clean conduct record with CCC, and a 2.0 GPA minimum. RAs are compensated with room & board for the period of their time as an RA. If you’re interested in giving back to the campus community and building your leadership skills, consider applying when Residence Life recruits new RAs! Residence Life Coordinators are professional staff who supervise the RA staff and manage the daily operations of the buildings. RLCs also serve as a resource for students of concern and as “secondary response” when RAs request assistance. One RLC is on-call at all times during the academic year to ensure we have staff available in case of emergency. The Directors of Residence Life supervise the RLCs and oversee the strategic direction of the department on their respective campus. They manage the housing operations for the residence halls, including housing assignments/ sign-up, break housing extensions, and more. The Administrative Assistants manage the Residence Life Offices on each campus, process residents’ paperwork, and supervise the Residence Life work-studies. They are the first point of contact for questions about housing, residents’ mail, and more.
