The Noise/Guest/Party/Alcohol Free Period is still in session and will not
finish until 2pm THIS Friday 19th June. The main priority for student
accommodation is to allow students the best opportunity for academic
success. Part of allowing that is to make sure that residents are in the best
conditions possible to prepare for their exams. During the Noise/Guest/
Party/Alcohol Free Period, the following applies on residence
No loud noise at anytime of the day
No guests permitted
No open alcohol in communal areas. (Communal
areas are any place that is not your own room).
Basketball court open from 2pm – 4pm ONLY
Breaches will incur financial penalties and formal
breaches against your residential record. We thank you
for your
cooperation during this time to allow all residents to have an environment
conducive to studying.
Please speak to your RL or a staff member if you have any questions.

Ham, cheese and tomato omelette
Ingredients
2 eggs
1 smallish tomato
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon parmesan, grated
1 tablespoon chives or parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon cheddar, grated
2 thin slices good ham
Method
1. Cut the tomato in half, de-seed and finely dice.
2. Lightly beat the eggs with milk, sea salt and pepper together with a fork.
Pour in the egg mixture immediately and cook over medium-high heat,
ensuring the egg is being cooked evenly on the pan.
3. When the underside is golden lower the heat. Scatter the grated cheese,
herbs and diced tomato, and arrange the ham on top.
4. Cook for a further 30 seconds then slide the omelette form the pan onto
a plate, ensuring the omelette folds over itself. Rub in butter, remaining
cheese, tomato and herbs and serve immediately.
