Thunderbolt Training Centers2021 Season Overview$
Thunderbolt Training Centers offers race training for young skiers. This program is a fun winter experience
that helps students to develop skills and techniques that improve skiing
ability and performance.
Junior Development ProgramOur six-week racing program will begin the second week of January. This program is for young racers of all abilities and racing experience. We will work on free skiing drills each week for 45 minutes and then be in gates using gate drills with full courses. We will start with Giant Slalom (larger turns) on week one and alternate between Slalom (short turns) and Giant Slalom.
Saturday Night Slalom Series$We are continuing this fun series that compliment our Sunday series. This will be a three race slalom series. We will have two courses that athletes can race on: a full-length slalom course with full-size break-away poles or a stubby course. All Thunderbolt racers are eligible to race. *Fees not Included in junior development program.

Thunderbolt Holiday Race Camp
Our race camp is designed to provide the serious racer, as well as the recreational skier, the opportunity for early season gate training and coaching. Skiing skill improvement, course tactics and techniques, as well as gate time will be included in this five day camp.
Sunday Morning Race Series
This is our popular race series where athletes can race in their own age group for single races as well as collect season long “World Cup” points. Weekly prizes and medals are awarded to athletes of all ages. The series runs for seven weeks beginning at Mt. Holly and alternating with Pine Knob for seven total races.
