Could God Use YOU to Plant a Church

in the Pacific Northwest?

Exciting things are happening in the Pacic Northwest! Reseeding America wasrecently contacted by several churches in that region. We were pleased to learnthat these established churches are preparing to give birth to new churches. Teyare getting ready to step out by aith and reproduce their own churches and at thesame time they are asking the Lord to provide church planters. Tey are asking usto bring them men who have a pioneer spirit to pastor the new churches that aregoing to be started. Reseeding America is now in the process o seeking out thosemen who will pray about going to start and pastor new churches in the NorthwestUnited States.

All o that inormation leads us toask the ollowing question, CouldGod use you to plant a church in thePacic Northwest? We dont believeyou can really answer that questionwithout considering a survey trip tothis region o the U.S. Just as oreign

missionaries take survey trips to third world countries, so church planters insidethe United States should consider a trip to the area where God may be leadingthem to establish a New estament Baptist Church.

Tis will be an exciting twelve day trip to the Pacic Northwest region o theUnited States. You will see rsthand the church planting needs in the states oWashington, Oregon and Idaho. It will be a wonderul opportunity or you as auture church planter, especially i you are praying about starting a work in theNorthwest. raveling with you will be men who are experienced church planters

and pastors who have planted or are in the process o planting churches. Tese mencan answer your questions about church planting. Tere will also be numeroussoul winning opportunities during the twelve days o traveling.

Reseeding AmericaField Conerence

Conducted April 21 -24, 2013

Te purpose o this conerence held everyother year, is to provide a time or rest,ellowship, inspiration, inormation and spiritualencouragement or our USA missionaries. Tis yearour conerence was hosted by Pastor Rick Perrineand the good olks at Ripley Baptist emple in

Ripley, West Virginia. Pastor Perrine and his churchdid a wonderul job o hosting the eld conerenceand providing meals or all o our missionaries.Leading up to the conerence we sent out lettersto churches that supported our missionariesrequesting contributions to be given to lodge ourmissionaries. A hearty thanks goes out to all thosewho contributed to this eort. We were able to ndan older acility that was still neat and clean, but had

God? Sunday evening, Dr. John Bailes preached onWhat Happens When a Church is Planted. Mondayand uesday we heard rom Pastor Lee Bohman, as hegave a challenge to get serious about asting, prayer andthe reading o Gods Word. Wednesday and Tursday,Pastor Kurt Skelly spoke on How to Find Graceand Te Danger o Proessional Ministry. All o themessages given contributed to a great conerence.

Tough we were not able to have all o our USAmissionaries and their amilies present, we werepleased to see many who did come and enjoy thisspecial time with their amilies. Tere were toursarranged during ree time to go to the Fenton GlassCompany in nearby Parkersburg and also to theWest Virginia State museum in Charleston. All othe missionaries were church planters and had the

opportunity to share with one another prayer requestsand some o the things they were doing on their eld.

In the process o presenting inormation to themissionaries, Dr. John Bailes and Bob Larson sharedsome o the changes that are taking place within theBIMI leadership structure. Dr. Bailes explained thatin June o 2013 he wouldbecome the National

Reseeding AmericaRepresentative and BobLarson would assume theposition o USA Director.It was explained thatboth will be continuingto work in unison toadvance the ReseedingAmerica ministry oplanting churches in theUSA.

From the bottom o our hearts, thank you. You have been a real blessing to thepeople o our church, and to our entire city. You have helped us as a churchminister to them in Jesus name.

Tis is our report and letter o appreciation to each o you or the things and/orthe monetary contributions you have sent to us in our hour o need. We actuallyhad six amilies who lost EVERYHING in the ornado. Many more amilies wereaected in smaller ways. Tere is also a couple who just joined our church this pastSunday morning who were actually standing outside their house with the ront doorlocked when the F5 hit. Te tornado blew their locked door open, blew them insideand le them underneath a pile o rubble or about an hour and a hal beoresomeone ound them and dug them out. Needless to say, God got their attention:they rededicated their hearts to the Lord that night and have been in church

EVERY Sunday morning since the tornado originally hit.As you may already know, immediately aer the tornado hit we elt like we neededto open our church and use our gym as a donation and distribution center to notonly pass out ree ood and supplies, but also reely pass out Gospel literature andBibles and look or every opportunity to talk to people about the Lord. Te resultshave been very positive. We never had to ask or anything, people just gave. Wehave also had some come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Praise theLord! At the end o June we decided to shut down our donation and distributioncenter and go back to what we consider our normal ministry. What ew things we

have not already given away, we have taken to a local distribution center that doesthis type o ministry year around. Our main ocus rom here on will be on helpingamilies nancially and spiritually.

We have used the monetary contributions to help each o the amilies rom ourchurch who were aected the most by the tornado to get back on their eet. Mostwere overwhelmed with emotion when given the oerings. Tey are people whowere not used to being helped by others. In times past, they have always been onthe giving end, and this was hard or them, but it was greatly appreciatedand

needed. Some were amilies o bus children. How they were surprised to see thelove o the amily o God or their children. Tere are many stories which I wouldlove to tell i I had the time, but make no mistake, God used your generosity in agreat way.

Alabama, Tennessee & Georgia Churcheswork together to restart

Tis past spring when the call went out to come and assist ina church restart at Albertville Baptist Church in Albertville,Alabama, we were thrilled with the response. Over one hundredy people came in rom churches in ennessee, Georgiaand Alabama to help distribute Grand-Opening literature!

Because o these hard working churches, the majority oMarshall County received a Gospel packet on their doorwith an invitation to opening services. It is amazing whatcan be accomplished when churches determine to assist oneanother. Tanks to each and every church that came and whoparticipated to restart this church in Albertville.

Tri-state churches gather to begin distribution

Each church was asked to arrive at around 9:00 a.m. A shortdevotion was given and a song was sung. Groups then selectedan area where they would work or the morning hours. Mapsand door hanger bags were given out and groups then loadedinto church vans or a busy morning. At noon a lunch wasprepared and a great time o ellowship was enjoyed between theparticipating churches.

We have ound that people may misplace the yer, but moreoen than not they will not throw away the Romans book because it isScripture. We have actually had people walk into churches months aer adistribution carrying the Romans book.

Reseeding America Church planters Ken and June Love moved late last year

to Alabama to restart the Albertville Baptist Church located at 302 BuchananRoad in Albertville. Tis veteran church planting couple have spent theirmarried lie together starting churches and reviving churches in the USA,Canada, the Caribbean (Grand Cayman Island), and have lled in or amissionary on the Island o inian in the Pacic. Tey have been associatedwith Baptist International Missions, Inc., since 1981. Kens decision to pastorin Albertville, Alabama, is a result o much prayer and seeking the will oGod. Please pray or them as they labor to reestablish this church. Ask God

to give them more laborers who can assist them in this ministry.

Te Lord is blessing here at Lighthouse. Visitorshave come almost every week. As an additionaleort to reach people or Mothers Day andFathers Day, we mailed out 22,300 cards invitingpeople to the services on those special days. Te

Gospel was printed on these cards, and almostevery home in Avondale received one. We havehad some people come to the church as a resulto this mailing. God provided through LBC,

Reseeding America, and our sending church.

Tere have been some big changes in our ministry in thelast six months. We met in the Best Western Motel or overa year aer being washed out by the 2011 oods. We neededa place to hold our services. Tere was another church inthe ri-city area o Binghamton that had a small buildingbut ew people. Aer some time in prayer, we elt that Godwould have our two churches to become one. Tey joined us

We have seen God bless in these last several months. With Dr. Ray presentingour aith promise, we were able to bring our mission giving back to where it hadbeen and enough to take on some new missionaries.

Its hard to believe that June is upon us already! 2013seems to be going by aster than any year o ministryprevious at Mountain Side Baptist Church. Te Lord has

blessed us this year in tremendous ways. He allowed us tocomplete our building expansion project, providing bothunds and laborers in ways only the Lord can. Te Lordblessed our annual Faith Promise Missions Conerence,

the highlight being a rst time visitor who received Christ as Saviour! When we attended candidate school at BIMI last summerit was emphasized that deputation was not just a time toraise support. It would be a time when we would meetmany people who could share our burden. We were also

I am an active user o Social Media, butrecently I have noticed a trend. It seems asi no one ever has a bad day, an o Sunday.It seems like everything has to alwayscome up roses or we as Church Plantersare doing something wrong. Recentlywe have seen record high days as well as

record low days. While it does not excite people to post that we had 12 or ourevening service recently, it is no less the truth. Church Planting is not witterwhere every day is a celebration. It is LONG, HARD WORK and we must stick toit. Its a marathon, not a sprint. At Legacy, we are building stone by stone, lie bylie, street by street. Tere are no shortcuts, but there always is next Sunday!

Dan & Martha Guider BaptistInternational Bible Institute, Atlanta, GA

Baptist International Bible Institute was ounded byBIMI missionary Dr. Grant Carter and Rev. Dan ibbsin 1985 to train inner city pastors to plant and pastorindependent, undamental, Baptist churches. In 1989we took over directing the Bible Institute aer servingin the West Indies or 13 years. Recently we did astatistical survey o the mission work in Atlanta. Wehave now trained 51 church planters and pastors whohave started new churches or restarted churches.Some took traditional black churches and led them to be undamental, Bible

believing, soul winning Baptist churches. We have also trained an additional80 preachers who are associate pastors or who are serving in church leadershipsome way. We have also trained over 200 others who are Sunday School teachers,deacons, childrens workers, etc. In addition we have trained 4 evangelists and2 missionaries, one o whom is in South Arica. I have planted 2 churches, co-planted another one, restarted another church, assisted in planting 2 Hispanicchurches, assisted in planting a Korean church, and assisted our graduates inmany other church plants. I have also assisted in the starting o 5 other Bible

institutes. o God be the Glory! Please keep the church planting mission workin Atlanta in your prayers.

Six months aer Pastor Ron Manueland his amily had the grandopening service or LighthouseBaptist Church in Avondale,Arizona, a charter service wasscheduled or March 10, 2013. In

that service an invitation was givenor those that wanted to sign thecharter and become members.Tere were a total o twenty-vebelievers that joined in the morningand evening services. On thatSunday they had a record o eightythree in attendance. Dr. John Baileswas present to preach in both themorning and evening services.Since then there has been six moreto sign the charter or membership.God is blessing the church withsouls being saved and more laborersbeing added to the harvest.

Southwest U.S. Reseeding America

Church Planters Meet in PhoenixIn May some o our Southwest USA Church planters and their wives met at aPhoenix restaurant or a time o ellowship, encouragement and planning. Someo the topics covered in that meeting included the importance o regular inor-mative prayer letters, quarterly and activity reports and procedures to ollowwhen conducting und raising or large projects on the eld.

Te group was in avor o holding their own Southwest Regional Field Coner-ence in 2015 as well as working together as a group to assist new ReseedingAmerica church planters coming to the Southwest area o the United States.Tere was also discussion concerning the production o new church plantingpromotional material or the Southwest Region, and the production o a newSouthwest Church Planting DVD.

USA Missionary Pastor Bill Fluker and themembers o Grace & Mercy Baptist Church,Jackson, Mississippi, have purchased a new churchproperty. What used to be an old night club withmuch dancing and drinking will now be converted

to a place o worship. We are excited about thispurchase as it will move our ministry closerto downtown Jackson, closer to Jackson StateUniversity and closer to a more populated area.We need to go where the people are, said PastorFluker. Te Grace & Mercy Baptist Church hasbeen in a storeront since it began in November2005. Souls have been saved and baptized in this

inner city ministry and many lives have beenchanged over the past several years. Te new8,000 sq. . acility, once renovated, will provideadequate space or Sunday school classrooms,nursery, ofce, ellowship hall and kitchen and amuch larger auditorium. Pastor Fluker stated thatthey estimate the total cost o the renovation willbe around $45,000. Tey have received $17,000in donations rom several churches already withtheir sending church, Calvary Baptist Churcho Fort Walton Beach, Florida, donating $10,000toward the project.
